I'd be having a big bet on Iarola at 11/2! I'd price it up a 6/4 shot. I think he will be the main target in the Summer and I don't see why he wouldn't come. Its a great stepping stone job for him as he wouldn't be offered the Real Madrid or Bayern jobs just yet
fukkin LOL remind me of the managers that went from Spurs to Real Madrid also you'll lose that bet within the nest 4yrs regarding Spurs- have you even watched or been part of a La Liga game/season? I doubt he'll join Bundesliga XD
I do take with a pinch of salt everything that's written on football sites.. but it does make sense that Iraola wanna wait until the summer before committing himself to Bournemouth and that Spurs are interested in him...

Andoni Iraola’s stance on new Bournemouth contract amid Tottenham interest

Graeme Bailey – chief correspondent at TBR Football can confirm that Bournemouth are keen to tie down Andoni Iraola to a new contract, but they have not yet opened talks with their highly-rated head coach.

The Spaniard has never been keen on signing a long-term deal thus far in his career, but things are set to change.

TBR understands that Bournemouth spoke with Iraola’s camp before Christmas, but the manager has thus far insisted that he wants to wait and not disrupt the campaign.

However, Bournemouth are increasingly worried by interest emerging in their coach.

TBR Football can confirm that Tottenham Hotspur have done their work on Iraola, as the club do their due diligence on potential replacements for Ange Postecoglou.

We can reveal that before Pep Guardiola committed to a new deal at Manchester City, Iraola was on their ‘long list’ of potential replacements.

The 42-year-old was also discussed by Liverpool’s hierarchy as they looked at their options to replace Jurgen Klopp last year. Richard Hughes knew him well, but it was deemed too early in his managerial journey.

Bournemouth are determined to keep Iraola, and sources have told TBR Football that they are ‘confident’ that the Spaniard will commit to the Vitality Stadium – given the backing they have shown him since landing him in 2023 when he left Rayo Vallecano.
This is all journo bullshit all this text for nothing more than 'He's happy where he is' but sentences don't sell Ad Rev waffling speculation does.

There is no fukkin way that he would EVER go to Man City 0/10 complete waffle.

Explain to me (me being a Bayern Munich fan since about 2006) why you think they hired Kompany for Bayern Munich?

As always you know I'm always good faith so if you could explain your take I would like to hear it because Kompany failed at Burnley & I shan't comment on his 'charisma' as I don't play for him.

Regarding the attractiveness of a club it's not just the manager it's also down to the potential of success or learning potential IE Silverware also it's wages - most players see Spurs as a bouncing point to better achievements :-

All joined at PEAK but left

Modric
Bale
Kane
JUDAS
Gazza
Lineka
Trippier
Walker

José had 'Big Charisma' what happened during his signings???

Because he won loads as a player and he’s built a rep for being intelligent, no nonsense and a big character.

They are slowly moving on from their legends and want a younger coach their young Players will look up to.

FFs I had a damn fukkin rebuttal & my fukkin internet cut out with POINTS and STATS...all gone whatever...

I went in to Musiala, Dier, Kane, all sorts of signings with previous managers but fukk

It's gone I disagree with you what legends? the only legend is Müller!

Anyways...the reason they hired Kompany because he was Young!!! also he was able to instil confidence with the board...like Pep did...

But none of that matters it's WORKING...

How is Richarlison, who played mostly on the left for Everton succession planning for Kane? Bringing Solanke in a year earlier would have been planning ahead

Your tiny mind can’t fathom how we work as a football club. It’s hard. But try to keep up.

Tbh it’s beyond the capabilities of most mortal men the inner workings of a Daniel Levy PowerPoint presentation.

But three examples. And there are many many more.

Gareth Bale. He was a left back. Then a let winger. Then he played on the right. We even had to sing “he plays on the left” to help the management team out! Then he went up front!! Madness.

Moussa Dembele. An ineffective left winger at Fulham. Daniel knew he could replace luka modric silky skills and Scott Parker turning in circles in the middle of the park.
He became a silky battering ram of a central
Midfielder. Genius.

And recently Archie Gray. A central midfielder. Played right back for Leeds.
Yes you know it. We played him centre back!!

Don’t worry your pretty little head. This is the big league baby.

Has a good idea on how to identify youth talent & be able to bring teams back to form.

Does he obey orders….?

Kim Hellberg, inspired by Ange but with a rock solid defence. It would be interesting. Young, very vocal manager, good at developing young players. But way too big step to go from the Swedish league to the Premier League. As we have seen with Ange.

I don't see Iraola looking to leave in the summer if Bournemouth finish In the top 6 and the Europa league. Think he'd want a shot at Europe with the team he's built

And if Ange has a strong finish to the season, well I think you could seriously be looking at Ange ball season 3 :angesmile2:

He'd be mad not to leave.

Their team will be gutted in the summer because the Bournemouth model is like Brighton. They will sell probably 3 of Semenyo, Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Kluivert, and Kerkez and the replacements will probably take minimum 2 seasons to get even close to the level they are at atm. With the extra games from Europe, they will also pick up injuries and struggle with the Thursday to Sunday games. If they are in Europe next year, chances are they will be just out of a relegation battle and he gets sacked. Not a knock on him btw, we've just seen the same pattern play out before.

Are they poor? If they slap 70 mill price tags on some of these will many teams outside the idiots at Chelsea bite?

I really don't think people will be as desperate to join us anymore , too much reputation damage . I feel that's part of the reason why levy has really stuck with his man.
He would've sacked him months ago if thos was 3 or 4 years ago
Think he's trying to prove he give coaches the time and every opportunity

I'm not saying because of Iraola specifically joining us but Bournemouth are a tiny club when it comes to revenue. If they want to grow, they will need to take the offers for some of their assets this summer.

Why doesn’t Danny give the Manager’s role over to the TFC forum ; possibly on a month by month trial basis ?

The collective footballing wisdom ,tactical insights , awareness of unpolished gems currently playing in Paraguay etc , commitment to the cause and all-round passion for the club , Medical expertise ( ie Zest ) and general nous we’d be a shoe-in ; surely.

ALSO ; a highly lucrative Netflix tie-in , but obviously that’s just by and by. Despite how much money it may bring in .

Can’t think why no-one’s ever thought of this before .

Granted it would be “ management by committee “ ; but what a committee . Call it a Praesidium and get LLB involved…

What could possibly go wrong ?

PS We could even have certain members ( who are good at that sort of thing ) deployed to motivationally swear at players at halftime ( naming no names ) .

We certainly have the biomechanics expertise. With all our sprint experts, we’d never get a soft muscle injury all season
