YesPeople got excited because a random guy in Qatar tweeted something?
Loads - not just today.
Better be a big one then. Going to do huge damage if it’s the usual couple of dozen folk.
The timing of this stinks. Big protest tomorrow and takeover rumours. Classic media deflection to take attention off how horrendously neglected the football club is

I am suspicious of these stories but more from a click bait perspective. However the idea that part of the Qatar royal family would be a part of some form of distraction is ridiculous. I have no idea if the twitter account is genuine but people seem to think it is . If the message is genuine there are a number of reasons for it , but conspiring with Levy to deflect the heat from a protest isn’t one of them . They just wouldn’t be arsed to do it
I saw that but I thought the journalist was saying it wasn’t him , only been skimming the posts though .That tweet is just some journalist apparently. Nothing to suggest the Qatar royal family are in on any of it
I agree this is the best criticism of Levy. It’s a real leadership problem to not surround yourself with excellent people who compensate for your deficiencies. After reading the BBC article, it's the main point imo for those who like the psychology of management : the fact that Daniel Levy surrounds himself with loyalists, doesn't try to hire people with complementary soft skills and is a poor communicator, will never be a good foundation for an organisation aimed for success, whatever the field, industry.
It's been a suspicion before those anonymous insider sources confirmed it. That BBC article is the nail in the coffin, bullseye with that main point for the ENIC era and DL as a chairman.
