One ageing, one lumbering. And yet they are playing at positions that should be speedy and tearing opponent fullback apart.

How about just drop them, Ange? Let them rest. Or bring them on into games instead of starting them? Senior players mean nothing if they are not effective...

You’re right, they’re horrendous fits for the positions, but who is he supposed be play there?

He’s played Johnson RW mostly whenever he has been fit, and Johnson is worlds apart from a winger that fits this system too.

The reality is, touchline wingers are absolutely crucial to this system, and one (a 19 year old from relegated Burnley) has been signed in the last 2 years.

Still have the 3/4 best players on the pitch, even though they are kids, organisation and cohesion are the managers job, unfortunately….

Bentancur as the pivot is horrendous though, he’s like a turtle in a windsock when they attack, not showing enough when we are playing out.

We really need two wide forwards who can take players on and get in behind. Every time the ball goes to Son o Kulusevski they just stop and turn backwards, even when 1 v 1. Be nice to see Oddobert and Moore second half, but you just know Ange will put fucking Johnson on first.
