Player Kevin Danso

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The unbiased Match of the Day , in their highlights did not even show the foul on Danso. The non penalty in the Everton United game was shown and discussed .The non penalty that Villa should have had was shown but not discussed. Toss pots"
TBF the Everton one is different because:

a) the ref initially gave it
b) it was right at the end of a game that was tied 2-2

I do think MotD try to balance highlights a bit too much - i.e. show action at both ends.

Kevin Danso expected to become part of Tottenham’s leadership group

Alasdair Gold expects Tottenham’s new signing Kevin Danso to become part of the team’s leadership group following an impressive start to life in North London.

The Tottenham journalist claims that whilst Danso has proven to be a perfect fit for Postecoglou’s team, it’s also his character which has been a big addition to the squad.

Gold told his YouTube channel: “He’s just a really bubbly, strong character Danso and he’s fitted in so well. Often we talk about the talent of players and how well they play but maybe don’t give enough credit when the scouting setup also identifies the character and personality of a player.

“Danso in that mould has been brilliant, as Postecoglou said, to fit into a team as a senior player despite making such a big step up – he just looks like a man determined to grab this opportunity with both hands.

“I think the young group of players are really benefitting from having him there but I also think people like Vicario are benefitting from having another leader and organiser there. I would not bet against Danso in the next 18 months or so becoming part of that leadership group.”

Would/will be a shame if he's dumped straight to the bench next week when Romero is back. Romero is obviously seen as the more senior player at the club but Danso really doesn't deserve to lose his place.

Over to you Romero… nobody is guaranteed a start

cheating and thuggery looool. what hes done is actually safer than them both getting to the ball while its crossing the line and potentially both being injured.

youve just said you think van dijks is also a foul. maybe you should watch womens football, be more your cuppa tea.

Maybe YOU should try to understand the laws of the game before commenting. Or try another sport - I don't think football is your bag.

That’s just us isn’t it. Annually irritating.

I’m actually not convinced we’d have brought him in had dragusin not got injured.

100%.

There was a deal to be done for Danso on the day the window opened and it was only after that Dragusin injury that anything really started getting done.

Anyway, fuck it, we finally have a CB rotation that can play to the style of football we are building this squad for.

Quite impressed with his solid performances to date although culpable for the Ipswich goal despite complaints about him being fouled. Needs to be stronger/more wily in such situations whereby more and more (it seems) PL refs are allowing play to continue whilst the the fouled player wastes their time appealing rather than trying to recover.
