This cannot be allowed to happen
He was always going to get this season. It made no sense for the club to sack him and take a wild punt on someone like Potter mid season. All the club's current goals are long term so they were never going to panic to try save the league season. Its not like when we had Harry Kane here and were under short term pressure to meet his demands and win now. I tried warning everyone of this back in November when people were licking their lips at our tough schedule thinking he'd be fired before Christmas.

But he will be replaced in the Summer. The club will move fast. His only saving grace is if he can win the Europa League or if we end up on some crazy winning run in the league which seems highly unlikely.

A lot of social media that I watch re Spurs has a way more positive view of Ange than this forum. Hard to gauge which is the more accurate????
Social media algorithms will tailor content to your taste and viewing habits. I wouldn’t say that it’s clear cut either way.

Ultimately though, I do not give a fuck what anyone else thinks. If people like him, that’s up to them. I think he has to go but he’s probably here to the end of the season at least, possibly longer if he wins a cup or Levy thinks he’s been dealt a poor hand.

I can see a few wins in meaningless end of season games and we scrape into 8th. Then the narrative will be about the injuries being what stopped us being in the top 4. He gets another year and we waste another season and sack him once it goes pear shaped.

That would be how we roll.
I don’t see us getting that high. I don’t see us getting that many points. We’ve also got our annual pathetic performances at Stamford bridge and and anfield to come.
But i agree he will be kept on in the summer, with a heavy warning that results need to improve.
We will have a few players leave in the summer, just a straight swap of shite for more shite, then things will go wrong around November and he will be let go. Another 9 months in charge I reckon

There’s not a chance he stays on next season . Even if he wins the Europa , he has been a disaster , the worst manager in our premier league history and totally out of his depth . This season could very very easily of seen us go out to Coventry in the Caraboa and Tamworth in the fa cup . In the end went out of both cups with a whimper ( yes we had injuries ) We are on 36 points and unlikely to make mid 40s , on what basis does anyone think things will dramatically next change season .

I think he's the worst manager in Premier League history in general.

He can't put together wins in a way that he should be doing in a club of this stature, which is hardly surprising given how variance inducing his style of play is. But, other things being equal, the end of the season is the best time to go on a run. Considerable amount of teams give up due to having nothing major left to play for, some of whom are already crap to begin with. It's not inconceivable to get through them based on effort alone, something this team doesn't lack.

Levy is desperate to hit the managerial jackpot for the second time, the first one being Pochettino. He is not alone in this in fact, a manager who turns everything he touches to gold is every chairman's dream because it's the cheapest/most convenient route to success. Add this the fact that Ange talks a good game, and there's every chance that Levy will get taken in if we finish the season strong.

I agree that he's been the worst I've seen in the 55+ years I've been watching. And I agree that he ought to go even if htting the jackpot with the EL and getting CL next season. I'd want him out if he'd done a double too. The table doesn't lie.

As for there being no chance he stays on. Well, seeing as Levy has cocked up every managerial apptmnets in 25 years bar 2, the recurring nightmare scenario is that he gets taken in by some Aussie blabber and keeps him on.

Nohthing would ever surprise me with baldie. Knows aboslutely nothing about the game.

Managers with the most premier league titles.

1. Ferguson - came from backwater Scottish league.
2. Pep - from Barcelona.
3. Mourinho - from the Portuguese league
4. Wenger - from Japanese league.

Looks like Anges past is fine. If he’s not up for it, it’s not because of his pathway.

Ferguson won the European Cup Winners Cup with Aberdeen beating Real Madrid

Go figure

I agree but would add that Levy also hit the jackpot with Jol and Harry Redknapp, although both were very much forced on him through circumstances.

Wenger won at Monaco. Jose won the champions league with Porto. Fergie won things with Aberdeen. Pep had already proven his worth in strong leagues.

And this Aussie bluffer is not a patch on any of their abilities.

Will you still be posting on here after Ange gets fired?

I doubt it having joined in Aug 2023
