You okay? Seriously. I answer a post that says Harry Maguire went for 80 million, in which I state Romero will not go for that...and you ask me if I think he will be sold for less than 70 million. Does that actually make sense
What happened to basic comprehension. So you are clueless too as you also admit that the market for centerbacks is lower than the 80 United paid. Weird AF

Unfortunately not to Madrid - After getting burned on Eden Hazard in 2019, Perez’s new strategy is to opportunistically sign top veterans on a free transfers (Mbappe, Alaba, Rudiger and it looks like Alexander-Arnold this summer) and only pay fees for top rated wonderkids (Bellingham, Tchouameni, Endrick, etc)
I’m sure Romeros agent is already salivating at the possibility of running down Romero’s contract with us and moving to Madrid on a free in two years for a big signing on fee…
Romero has publicly announced he wants to play for a Board with more ambition so I’d be very surprised if he signed a new contract with us … So Levy has a tough decision to make/task this summer. Levy won’t sell to another English club and Barca are skint so I think it’s PSG or bust … No one else in world football can afford a 70M+ fee.
Madrid would rather pay 70 million for Romero than pay 100 million plus for Saliba

Someone like VVD commanded that sort of money because he’s rarely injured and he’s a Rolls Royce of a defender you build championship winning teams around. Romero qualifies on neither count!
