I prefer to remember the good times he gave us. He was a breath of fresh air when he first came to us. I cried when I watched that interview with Neville. You'd have to have a heart of stone to not feel some sympathy for him.

Spain and Italy moved to zero tolerance with high on the Achilles a year or so ago. I think it's harsh but yes an Italian would see a red too.
They’re harsher on physical play at every level in spain. I got cards all the time for tackles that would have been fine in England

Honestly I don’t think that tackle is that bad. Not as bad as Lewis Skally-whatshisface tackles who apparently is worthy of an England call up but Spence is not.
I'm quite happy when our players are ignored for international duty TBH, especially with our injury woes.
