We need a manager/head coach that wants to win trophies, that instils that winning mentality into the players none of this 'Top 4' BULLSHIT & none of this 'Progress' BULLSHIT. Someone that tells the players if you play shit YOU'RE BENCHED also if you don't train well enough YOU'RE BENCHED.

We have the training facilities, we have the stadium, we have the money - we need the staff to say NO we aren't doing this anymore we play for the fans & we play to win!

If Levy won't allow it then let's keep up the pressure that we aren't happy with this crap because in the 2018/2019 Season I went to every home, away & European match with flights n hotels...I refuse to even think how much I invested in this disaster of a club oh GUY WHY YOU SOO ANGRY - it's not just me though it's anyone who invested anything because it's come to fukk all.

But who has the balls to do this??? I don't know meh ramble ramble grumble grumble grumble...

I'm curious at what Kieran McKenna could do with our squad. The Ipswich squad isn't good enough for the Premier League that's clear. But back to back promotions with Ipswich is impressive.

He would definitely be a more exciting signing than Iraola, Frank and Silva. But also a riskier one.

Her gets my vote.
I like Kieran McKenna a lot !!
I think he could do the job.

There is only one that would make me happy and there is no way Levy would give him the amount of control he would demand.

Kloop

Any others are just going to run into the same issues the last 20 years of managers have had.

I'd dance a jig if it were Klopp. An accomplished manager who could get Levy to agree to a high degree of managerial control over personnel would be exactly what we need. If scrubbing off Daniel Levy isn't possible that might be our only hope. Someone of Klopp's stature would keep the pressure on Levy to put a winning squad together.

I understand he has an issue with Maddison but a change of manager always means a change of most of the players.

Iraola has never had more than a 40% win percentage at any club he has managed.

Ange has a 49% win percentage in his time at Spurs - and this with a horrific injury list.

Give Ange a fit squad, and we challenge for the title and win trophies.

People banging on about getting a winning mentality at Spurs - Ange has won everywhere he's been.

Which club is breaking their balls to get Iraola out of Bournemouth right now?

They haven't won in 5 and look a very basic outfit with nothing really special or interesting about the way they play.

Very solid, mid table premier league outfit but if you ask anyone what makes them different or exciting all they say is performing above their resources...

Well, great. If/when they sell a few of their players who are outperforming their wages and ready for a step up, will they still be performing 2-3 places above average? What are the inventive and innovative things that will set Iraola apart then?

If Iraola got them in the CL then fair play but that's not happening and tbh it looks more like they don't get Europe at all.
He will have his suitors mate, Us being one of them.

I think their pressing game coinciding with their more direct approach is particularly interesting as they are still solid defensively, they are top 5 for XG and top 5 for XG conceded.

His teams finishing is letting them down badly.

Getting Bournemouth into Europe is a ridiculous standard to set considering the resources and competition they face.

I do worry about Iraola/Silva/Frank.

Yes they have done well but at much smaller better run clubs, the pressure is miles off. Look at Nuno, he has a squad perfectly suited for his counter attack football with far less pressure at Forest. On the Bournemouth forum they called us the Man United of the south, basically a big club that is a total mess.

Into that we have to hope that whoever of the 3 we pick can step up to pressure they have never remotely dealt with, a lunatic chairman and a pissed off fanbase. I would still like us to try offering Pochettino, Xavi Alonso, Simone Insagzhe before we drop down a level.

Iraola/Silva/Frank might be better than Ange but they still carry huge risk and I am not sure we want to take such a risk considering our situation. None of those 3 are as proven good managers as Pochettino, it’s not even close, it’s all about potential with them and huge risk.

Nobody wants you here.

Get what you’re saying and probably agree but Poch came to us after a decent season at Southampton. At that point he was an Iraola/Frank

True but he could easily have just crashed and burned and found himself out of his depth which he didn’t unlike Ange, Nuno and even Jose did with us. Point is it’s not much of a gamble but any of those would be.

What’s more impressive?

Bournemouth into Europe?

Or

Spurs winning a trophy?

If they are about the same, wouldn’t we want to see Iraola achieve something equally outstanding before expecting he could do it here?

I'm not convinced about bringing Poch back (but would be lying if I said I wouldn't be mildly excited). I'm also not sure he'd break his USMNT contract a year in unless he was given some pretty significant assurances on transfers and the level of his oversight - can't see Levy doing that either.

And if rumours of a takeover hold any truth, would he really be on the managerial shortlist of a cashed-up owner? I doubt it - the aspirations, expectations and setup would likely be pretty different.

A takeover would be different but then if a lot of funds came in our current media targets like Silva also probably wouldnt be considered. Poch is simply good as he is a good manager who fits the limitations of ENIC as he is expert at player development. A better ownership and of course that changes.
