Simple answer: Ange isn't a manager that likes to play youth. He likes working with experienced players. The only reason that Bergvall and Archie have gotten as many minutes as they have is that they both come with first team experience. And they have siezed on the opportunity and made themselves regulars in the rotation. But even then Archie is starting to get benched more and more now.
Believe it or not, he just might not be good enough.
It's a good opportunity to give him a few consecutive starts in the PL, isn't it? See how he goes.
