Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Wouldn't disagree. But how about him just keeping his mouth shut during international and spouts whatever shit he wants at the end of the season or after he's successful left the club. He's a vice captain and we are still competing in he Europa. He will be coming back next week and still receiving pay from our club ffs. How 'motivating' he's now.. What a prick.
How about him moaning while in England, if there is a problem he ( or other players ) tried to sort privately but no joy then speak out here, we the fans can judge if we think the player or the club is right

His not-so-subtle digs at this club are as well-meaning as Conte's infamous exit tirade, or Ange's weird antics before the City match last year. All are/were instances of self-centered people covering their ulterior motives under the guise of benevolence, while pointing the finger at everybody but themselves.

Calling this guy a winner just because he happened to be a first teamer on a World Cup winning team is hilarious by the way. How competitive winners are, even when barely anything is at stake, borders on pathological. They just give their best, circumstances be damned. Romero has been doing the polar opposite of that for how many years now?

As I mentioned before, Kane, Modric, Berbatov and Bale (also at Real) all previously checked out at this club in the past.

Hazard did the same thing at Chelsea and Real, Casemiro at Utd etc...there's been many other top players who have downed tools and mentally checked out of the clubs they've been playing for, it's nothing new.

And you might need to re-evaluate his performances for his national team, he's been one of the key players in their team who have won 3 back to back trophies in a row, this is a fact.

Still done nothing individually, or collectively in his club career at this point to warrant the arrogance. While you're still getting paid obscene amounts by your employer (compared to the average punter) keep your mouth shut and give everything on the field for your teammates and the fans. Then when your playing commitments are done, you can ply your trade elsewhere.

After recent events with his injury I think he might just be doing that next season. If we get a decent offer we Should let him go. With a World Cup at the end of next season his priority will be Argentina, as always.

Hazard didn't check out of Real. He never checked-in. Was injured too much. Rest of what you say - fair.

1) He blames the club for his medical issues.

2) He blames the club for not providing him with a private plane after international duty.

3) He blames the club for how shit we have been this season.

The clown literally takes no accountability for his disgusting performances which have resulted in seven errors leading to goals. It's always someone else's fault.

The sooner we get rid of these type of players the better.
Sell him and scout the best available replacement they are out there. He's long gone trust me it's over.

Surely nobody can blame him,

Anyone who has won a World Cup and has an ounce of ambition would want to be away from this club as instantaneously as they could be?
How about show your ambition for your employer who pays you handsomely and lift the players levels around you by your own elite performance, rather than acting like a whiny little bitch?!

Get rid and get a player who wants to represent the badge!

We would send the signal that Spurs isn’t the place for top players to play … again.
I think young players see us as a stepping stone in their careers, as they'll get playing time and put themselves in the shop window for a CL club to come calling.
If players like Lucas and Archie continue to progress and develop at the rate they have done, in a struggling team, we won’t be able to hold onto them.

So obvious he wants out without actually saying it.

There is definitely a bit of blaming Spurs for his injury to make it look to prospective buyers that he doesn't have injury issues.

Thing is, he's in his prime and the club is rebuilding with young players. If you are a player in the prime earning and winning years of your career, and you are good enough to win the biggest trophies like Romero, you want to see other established stars coming into the club around you.

Saying all that, we have all been saying something stinks with our medical department and him bringing it out could be necessary.
