Yes, it is. One of the stupidest things you've ever posted.

Spurs received £165M from the Premier League in 2022-23.

The EFL Championship distributed ±£16M each to clubs in 2022-23.

It's idiotic to think any club ownership, particularly one running a club as a financially sustainable enterprise, would be happy to see a £150M revenue loss. That revenue loss exceeds the entirety of our annual wage bill - there's no amount of wage bill reduction that could account for it.

That would represent a loss of 27% of Spurs' revenue, and likely more as other sponsorship contracts would likely be impacted. It would be catastrophically damaging to the club.
Well the way Enic and Mr Levy are running the football side of things relegation is a distinct possibility in the next few seasons. They either support the football side of things properly or sell to someone who will...ffs

I see that Levy lapdog Dudu found the above comment funny. Not surprising really as Dudu's nose is so far up levy's arse it's tickling his throat

Under a competent manager, relegation is a near impossibility.

I'm not trying to defend Levy or ENIC here, but from 2021-current we're 4th in net spend and, even with the wage bill reduction* in the past 24 months we're 7th (barely below 6th) in wages.

I've said it before and will continue to say it: not spending enough (especially on wages) is why we're not winning/competing for trophies. That's ENIC/Levy's burden to bear.

The reason we're so shit the past 18 months is solely that we are currently lumbering along under the worst manager at the club in the past 40 years - and quite possible the worst manager in the club's history when graded according to how much has been financially invested in himself and the squad vs. the results. He's doing the least with the most of anyone in the club's history.

The amount that ENIC spend should reasonably ensure Spurs are never credibly threatened by relegation and anything lower than a 6th place finish is a failure to meet the expectations based on expenditure.

There's no real reason not to expect that Ange's replacement will finish 6th, at least, even with Levy.

*Which is predominately driven by clearing out deadwood (i.e. Ndombele, Dier, etc.) - something everyone here clammored for for years.

Worst manager ever and not spending on wages totally agree. Also Levy needs to get proper football people around him not the current sycophants.

Joined the protest today, don’t think it being half term helped but well done to those who joined today.

Can’t help but feel that the new stadium is ENiC’s way of pretending our previous history doesn’t exist. Bit like when people say football only started when the Premier League started.

For me its like a death by a thousand cuts with Levy and co

It's not like he's taking money out of the club, so the only thing you can complain about is him not investing himself/not recklessly investing club mo

That banner 'Bulit a business. Killed a football club'. Spot on.
💯
Don't put up any statements that they can come back on such as transfer spend we are neck and neck wth the scum since 2019 it is identifying players to raise our levels in other words incompetence.

I joined it about halfway down the High Rd and thought it was a decent turnout and stayed at the front of the West Stand until about 1pm, as it started to peter out at that stage.
Apart from making Levy feel a bit uncomfortable (was he even there today?), I don't know what it actually achieves - the only thing that is going to make the change is someone who has a spare £4 billion in his pocket.
I didn't like the 'party when he dies' chant, but loved the Beyonce one.

There is a lot wrong here. We might be 4th in net spend since 2021 but a better metric is player wages to revenue ratio. We are last in the Premier League ar 43% (or first if you're Levy). That metric is damning and why we don't win anything. Woolwich have similar revenue to us but have six players earning more than our highest earning player (Son) who let's face it only provides value with commercial streams now.

You say the problem is Ange and there is no reason another manager wouldn't get 6th with this squad. Ange is a huge problem and needed removing months ago but this squad is atrocious and no better than 10th-12th. A new manager would have to get this squad over performing and with all due respect only Poch in Levy's reign has got more out of a Spurs squad. Replace Ange and whoever the unlucky bloke is who picks up the pieces will be getting abused by the fans before November when we are firmly entrenched in the bottom half after a 4-1 home defeat to Chelsea. This is our club now. Mid table players, low table performances, hopefully don't get relegated.

It affects the image and the brand. And the more uncomfortable he feels the better. Imagine the state we'd be in if the whole fan base just happy clapped and enthusiastically supported ENIC and Levy in everything they did. As some on here would have us do 😲. God forbid....it doesn't bare thinking about.
One thing that would really sting would be a massive, properly arranged Spurs fan protest with plenty of pre-planning outside the stadium on an NFL match day....Now that would be a proper blow. The negative publicity for Levy's Creme de la Creme would be damning

edit: already emailed this suggestion to CFT.

I guess the difficult hurdle we have is that the Spurs fan base is so widely dispersed and not highly concentrated in a single city like say Newcastle, with Ashley, so any major protest on a non Spurs match day would be nigh on impossible to get going.

If anyone else has any suggestions moving forward though?

This wages to turnover ratio is not the be all but actual wages. Which player cares about the ratio but what they care about is what they actually earn. We are 7th in that category which is at least 1 below where we should be. Which of our players do you think should earn more? Maybe Bergvale and Gray ? In the past players like that were given wage increases after they proved themselves to keep them at Spurs but they have not been here a season yet.
In the recent past we could not shift players because they earned too much and they sat out their contract. Players like Ndombele and currently Regulion. Because we do not keep Managers long enough we are always rebuilding and need quantity of players in a transfer window instead of quality. I think Ange is a certainty to go in the summer and no doubt the new Manager will want many changes in the squad so we spread the transfer budget too thinly and these players do not deserve more or we will never shift the duds.
The main priority in the summer is getting a Manager that can stay as long as Poch and does not play a significantly different system to Ange, such as 3 at the back as we do not have enough CB’s for that system.

Exactly. And if the problem is Ange, well surely the actual problem is the person who a) employed him and b) has continued to employ him. 😂
There is only one reason Ange Postecoglou is managing this football club, and that reason is Daniel Levy

Assuming the delightful and fragrant Joe Lewis , (does anyone believe the family trust story means he has no say ) is exposed to the rapidly tumbling stock markets I wonder what he is thinking

1). I’m holding on to Spurs they are financially delivering better returns from all the mug fans than other investments.

2) I have seen my wealth go down 15-20 % it’s time to cash in

3) I have just done my bollocks so I need even more money from any Spurs sale than a week ago .

4) I got out in time and cashed in my investments and I am not hurting the way all the mugs are . An opportunity will exist to buy assets at knockdown prices soon. Fuck everyone else , lovely jubbly.

I have no idea, but sadly for us I reckon number 2 is least likely.
