Match Tottenham vs Forest Monday 21 April 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

At first, I wasn't thrilled that it had been moved to Monday night, but hadn't realized that tomorrow is Easter Sunday, so glad it's Monday after all.
I appreciate that there are some players who need a rest/ wrapping up in cotton wool, but we really need to see a decent performance from the players selected, as I can't cope with the spammers being above us!

100%.

West Ham are still below us.... for now.

The Liverpool game could be them getting the title. We probably need to rest some players but I don’t want us to be the butt of the jokes and be on the end of an absolute dicking.

Tomorrow matters and actually much more today than it did on Friday morning.

The fans will be buoyant and want to wish the team well ahead of the semi-final. Those who play need to try and put on a performance worthy of the name.

Against Liverpool, unless travelling fans haven't got anything better to do,they should stay at home.

As for any jokes about a heavy loss, let's ensure the last laugh is on others.

Rather not risk an injury , they can get 10 to 20 minutes.
But we'll see how ange handles it, bet vdv and udogie won't play for starters

For some players this will be the case like VdV for example but some players need to play constantly to get mins and get fully match fit.

Also I can see Ange using some of these matches as training for the EL matches, working on relationships, patterns etc...

You can’t just rest players and hope they are firing come the semi final. They need to keep playing ,get some results and confidence.
Except it's just not worked like that this season...
When we've played people to maintain continuity, they get injured, and we're forced to rotate and dip deep into the squad...
When we rotate to save players, form dips, and no one gets 'results or confidence'

We've been a rule unto ourselves this season... No logic has applied to any part of our season!

...except Dr Tottenham has been doing a roaring trade!

Honestly don't give a toss about the PL title race. Liverpool have won it.

Rest players tomorrow, full strength vs Liverpool and Bodo. Still think we can get a result at home to Forest even if we make some changes.

Liverpool played the last 2 games like they are on the beach, if we went full strength as a warm up, we could get a result there and go into the EL flying.
Amen!

This post 100% mah dude!

Are the football gods having a laugh, why does it have to be us playing them on the day they win the title, at that awful ground
Been there, done that - 1982, my first visit to Anfield, Clem's first time back, Hoddle scoring from the halfway line (well, nearly), it was all going so well. Then we let in three (IIRC) and had to stay in the ground watching them being presented with the trophy. When they let us out eventually, we were sitting targets for their supporters and we got pelted with stones and rocks, and they had smashed a lot of the windows of our train. Funnily enough, when we beat them for the first time since the Titanic went down, they left us alone!
Happy Days! ;)

Why is it only our players that need resting yet Woolwich and Liverpool can play the same 11 twice a week?
Woolwich have paid the price for that...all I've heard from their side which includes two family members is how Lego Hed has been running the players ragged with 'injuries' which I'm like...

Thanks,

I do sometimes joke around but I've been using forums for a while - sine the late 80's on BBS systems when they used to look like this :-

I'm not here for arguments or to insult people, it's just discussing opinions innit?
Correct!
Other opinions can be interesting, and some are worth further consideration by the reader.

Kind of like a football club!

We'll win 2-1 vs. Nottingham!
