The correct balance must be found, both us and Man Utd are at risk of 'resting' players because we're so scared of potential injuries that in the process we lose any semblance of momentum and or rhythm which will be a disaster in it's own right.

Yeah tough one - some players need minutes too, Spence, Richy, Kulu, Danso, Sarr
I’m expecting the likes of Richy and Spence and Gray to get some minutes tonight. We could do with them having something in the tank should we want to go with them for the Bodo game.
Injuries can happen any time, but we’ve had nearly 20 losses in the league and we aren’t going to get anywhere in it this season. We should be able to do both in all honesty but of course at this point the EL takes priority. I don’t think you just rest all the best players though as they need some continuity and sitting on the bench will rest them, but it won’t keep them playing well.
Mix the team up, but do it with Bodo in mind and hopefully having a full squad ready to go.

Players also get injured when they have to play intense matches without being match-fit and in the rhythm of regular games.
Not long left in the season, the run in is always about getting some momentum into a starting 11 and few others around the edges.
You will be even more pissed off when you get to north London and find out it's pissing down

Why is Spence now not deemed first choice FB? I thought it was always whoever had the shirt and performed well keeps it. Ok destiny has had two good games v average sides and is now ‘back’ to his best. Spence has been our best player since Jan and prbly one of our best players all season. Yet he finds himself 3 rd choice in essence. I bet if we got to final he would be on the bench when in reality he had the shirt for either FB position. Think I said it a while back that once destiny was back him and Porro would be first choice regardless of spences performances.
Times have changed - I don't like Liverpool much if your wearing London Colours you're fukked......ah, at least they were probably empty bottles...
Back in the day, they'd have been full of pi.... well, they'd have been full, put it that way!
I remember I used to wear a top over my Spurs colours then take it off when I was 'safe' in the home crowd.
I don't go away games outside of London now too much hassle for my age.
