Every week he is just coming with more ridiculous excuses.

How about winning some fucking football games Ange? you utter fraud.

He knows he is gone, which is why all he can do is rattle off some bullshit excuses, because he can't say anything else. He is waiting for the sack so he can get his pay out. That's all it is at this stage, we are treading water and he is wheeled out after every game just to chat shit, whilst Levy sits up there using him as his human shield.
Tbf Ange is actually a pretty decent human shield!

Why would we have to pay him off if we sacked him right now? Surely his performance is gross negligence and has been for months. His position is untenable at the club.
Because that's how manager contracts are worded.

As long as he is fired solely on performances, he gets a pay out to void the remainder of the contract.

It is a different scenario if say he gets into a fight with a fan. Then he can be terminated with cause.

There's not a single manager in football that's going to sign a deal that says that they get no compensation if they get sacked.

I doubt he comes home from work tired and stressed.
Guy literally does nothing.
Some of us work harder..........posting on here
I don't know, I imagine he spends his days thinking about his next press conference and thinks, "What can me and my bestie's in there talk about this week?"

He probably has a ginormous list of topics and probably expands on them.

Then there are team sermons that he has to give. He probably has tell the team about when his dad got lost going to find a free mattress when first moving to Aus.

I am pretty sure that Ange works very hard on everything but tactics and training. While managers like Frank are in before 6am and leave after 8-9pm and all they think about is how to improve on the previous game and fix the mistakes and then how to win the next game.

Levy is to blame most in all of this, let's not forget that.

As an aside, in 1991 (when we won the FA Cup with Gazza and Lineker), we only won 1 out of our 15 leagues games after January, but no-one remembers that because we won the FA Cup.

I'm sorta surprised by that - I didn't remember us being that bad despite keeping a match diary in my school homework book at the time ^^

By the same token, most people will remember us being pretty crap in 1999 and 2008 when league results were objectively better than 1991. I think the style of football makes a difference, and obviously that semi final win in 1991 made memories as well.

Different era as well. No social media like there is today. Now we're drowning in the misery of the situation. Back then I remember it was have a crap journey back home (or go to the pub with mates and talk about something else) then reset and forget until the next game. A lot more healthy for the mind.

We even lost 5-1 to Wimbledon that season.
The signs are all there……..

Just need a crazy free kick to go in on Thursday night.

Trying to figure it out but think under levy and sugar weve seen 5 or 6 title winning celebrations when weve played teams. That includes the gooners as well on pur own patch. No wonder players want to leave. They want a piece of that. Levy out.

Weird season that... we only lost 1 game from the start of the season until the end of November... we were 3rd but of course we played Chelsea on December 1st, lost that and preceded to win just 3 games the rest of the season (sound familiar?). The club was in serious financial trouble off the pitch. Trading in shares had been suspended and the only signing we made in the summer was the cult hero and dearly missed Justin Edinburgh. We all know the FA then tried to hammer us in the summer which Sugar pushed back on.
