It feels to me like some of the fans don't see the point replacing Ange unless the replacement can, and possibly will, win us the league.
Why are fans so binary?
There are 20 teams in the PL, why is it all or nothing? We're not a real life Amazon Documentary. If you can't finish first, aim for 2nd, if not 2nd, aim for 3rd.
don't just finished 17th, shrug your shoulders and say "meh, we weren't gonna win the league anyway"

We fans pay to go to games week after week. We want to see a team capable of winning more than we lose.

Matt - this is not the team to support if you want to win more than you lose... now if you want to see Beyonce belt out Single Ladies then this is the club for you... if you want to see whether the Cleveland Browns are any good then this is the club for you... if you want to experience the 500m, 17 turn with 2 DRS zones go karting circuit then this is the club for you... but if you want to see a business show a modicum of ambition and maybe win some football games then this is not the club for you...

Even if we crash out of Europe, there will only be 3 league games left at that stage. Unless the manner of the defeat in Europe is such that Levy pulls the trigger to make a show of it, so there is a good chance he goes if we lose to Bodo.

But it just feels that Levy has decided to see the season through with Ange regardless.

I genuinely think there will be a huge clearout of all the coaching in the summer, probbaly only Mason survives, but really, he should go too.

I think we need a complete overhaul.

I doubt it. It’ll probably need defeat over both legs, I’d sooner win it than wish him out at this point. He’s gone. If we can win in the meantime then brilliant.

If he stays to the end of the season it will be because of a clause in his contract meaning he gets a smaller payout if he fails to meet certain targets, which he's obviously going to fall short of.

Every fucking decision Levy makes is entirely dictated by money. It's odious.

We're at 47% losses so far. 2 more home games left. If we were to lose them that would be 6W 3D and 10 losses. 52.6% loss ratio and only 31.5% win.
That's as bad as I can recall for the last 2 decades.

It needs to be better. To charge us the money they charge us, it needs to be anywhere between 1st -6th in almost every season and our home form needs to be very good.

If we go out of europe he will get fired imo. Levy wont fuck around. Transfers and cash yes but this manager he will fire him. Just an opinion.

So fucking what? They'll all get us a comfortable top half, likely top 6. Way better than being propped up by the bottom 3.

Each to their own but i've never understood the trophies are the only thing that matters point of view. 95% of all club fans are going to be miserable if thats all the matters. I want to see a competitive side across all competitions that you enjoy watching where your looking forward to the next game.

Most of my favourite seasons we've won cock all, 84/5, 86/7, 09/10, 16/17 were all entertaining from start to finish. When we won the league cup under Graham it was all as boring as fuck. Ramos was shite and won a trophy. We should win more, even by law of averages but a trophy doesnt excuse a season like this and doesnt make a bad manager or team any good.

Most teams win nothing at all.

Palace in the FA Cup final this season.
This is their 3rd final. Never won one.
Never win a league title (top division)
Never win a league cup.
Obviously never won a European cup of any kind.

If winning cups is all that matters, why do they pretty much always have a full stadium and loyal fans?

Villa - 1 post war title, 44 years ago. 1 post war FA Cup. 68 years ago. 5 league cups since WWii. Last one 29 years ago.
Relegated from the Premier League not long ago.
Still have an army of fans.

Fulham.
Bournemouth.
Newcastle until this season.

I agree I am sick of travelling to WHL every few weeks just to watch the drivel we see every week and I live in Enfield. I cannot understand how anyone with more than an hours journey could have been bothered to go to our last home match against Forest. Going to watch Spurs at the moment is soul destroying and cost more than ever.
