Match The Bodø Affair: The Mighty Tottenham vs Bodø/Glimt of Nordland - 2000hrs 1st May 2025 - UEFA Europa League Semi Final Leg 1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Thank you! totally agree - I like that we won & I'm happy we did but it wasn't enough for me to go in completely confident into the next leg that's for sure not after watching the complete shitshow we have had in the season.

We've got to secure a comfy lead early in the next game that's for sure!

Re : Your last sentence.

Eni would be so proud ( and I suspect very well paid to have shared that
« insight into how the game at the highest level really works « with the rest of us .

PS : 1) I would find it VERY hard to disagree with you . 2) Thank for that
« insight « ; it wouldn’t have occurred to me 3) Are you still taking your mind-altering meds ( qv your previous revelatory posts ) . ? 4 ) Hope you’re feeling better 5) A sense of humour is often called for ( but sometimes not available) .

T’LDR : So you’re actually suggesting that if we went 3 nil up early doors it could prove to be a « good thing « ?

Let me know if I’ve missed anything.

# only joshing .

It's bodo glimt ffs, you don't need to be 3 goals up to beat them away.

Some of you need to get a grip.
Yeah, that's probably what Lazio thought, and Twente, and Roma when Bodo destroyed them 6-1.
We're a team extremely out of form, playing on a plastic pitch in unfamiliar surroundings, against a team that's only lost 5 times out of the last 31 home European games.

Underestimating anyone at this stage of the competition is pure stupidity.

Personally, I think they win, I just hope the 2 goal advantage will be enough to see us through.

serious not funny GIF

Have to say it felt very different today in and around the stadium compared to any other match I’ve been to this season. The Park Lane, W Avenue corner was buzzing, with loads of fans just hanging out, eating, drinking and chatting. It felt like our home again. I don’t know if we did have fewer tourists and more genuine fans, but it felt like our ground again.

Some people on here are sourpusses. I thought we played well and 3-1 is a good result

It IS a good result .

But in the greater context ; it’’s ;

1) Underwhelming

AND crucially

2) May well not be good enough against a team who in the real world, shouldn’t be anywhere near us ( all things considered) .

Therefore we’re not all hanging up bunting and organising and extended 4 day holiday weekend.

Try to understand that .

Theres a difference between underestimating a team and thinking the tie is over because we don't have a 3 goal cushion.

Should be going out there with at least a three goal lead, silly taking Richy off at half time and crazy putting Kulu in the middle when he clearly hasn't the mobility to play there, but not the first time Ange has messed subs up.
Deserved win, let's hope it's enough when we get out there.

Forgot to mention how good to see my third favourite Spurs player, Erik the Viking and Steffen Iversen at halftime. Both looking good and spoke so well about their feelings they still have for our Club :)

atmosphere was awesome until we conceded. Then we were no better than the scum who we all laughed at the other night for being "quiet"

But pre game and 80 minutes - it was as loud as I've heard bar the scum Conte win

What the FUKK are you talking about? Your post is almost an incoherent mess...

I have no idea why you're bringing up Eni Aluko - Yes I'm stating the obvious but unfortunately, the obvious sometimes is lost on this team's performance.

Firstly WTF are you talking about mind altering meds??? I'm on Antibiotics due to a severe blood issue - again what is up with you assuming & saying shit that's completely baseless??? Please let me know what drugs I'm on my friend that alters my mind...

Humour? coming from what? your response is laughable but for all the wrong reasons.

I can tell one thing you're missing, coherent sentences for one...
