hes always loose and erratic but he causes chaos in the final third and it works for us a lot. hes a weapon in the box with headers too.

we are going to need him fit if we are going to win this comp. richy and solanke are the only players we have in that front line who can do damage.

Totally agree, and despite the win I felt a bit deflated when I left the ground, as a 3 goal cushion was a minimum for me. This was also how pretty much everyone around me felt.
 
The boy has come back buzzing. Glad I bought him a membership for Xmas.

Glad he’s got the joy of a European night win under his belt. He’s watched all his other mates celebrate cup wins and league titles. For us it’s just pain!!

But nothing is like the Lane bouncing on a cup semi final night.

Onto the second leg……,

I'm almost sure the players decided to sat FU to the two defenders at the back. Just look how they hoof forward instead of trying to play every ball from the back.

Added, Biblo Baggins FC had a chance or two as well.

Shame about conceding late, but I thought that was a good performance. Kept them at arms length for the vast majority.

We played them almost like how everyone seems to play us, just let them have the ball and do fuck all with it, then move fast during the transitions and counter them.

Think next week will be tough, dreading the early goal they'll inevitably get. Just hope we can start fast like today and deflate them.
 
Genuinely really good performance. Not having that Bodo/Glimt were terrible, that's doing our performance a discredit.

I've seen top 4 Spurs sides knocked out by minnows like Gent, Mura and Basel in the past. Take nothing for granted.
