Match The Bodø Affair: The Mighty Tottenham vs Bodø/Glimt of Nordland - 2000hrs 1st May 2025 - UEFA Europa League Semi Final Leg 1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I can't for the life of me understand the angst people have with our stadium being used to hold huge events that gives us money and has zero effect on day to day football operations.

It's just weird

It's bllx...... It's been going on for decades up and down the country but for some reason we do it and it's a form of anti-football satanism.

Total domination, Angeball at its peak this match.

I stopped reading after 'only reason we this good tonight..'

Your not a fan you are a clown
Shit, so it wasn't sarcasm? You were serious.

I guess we have to get Robbie to start singing I'm Loving 'AngeCont Ball Instead', again. Nowdays (Incase you also one of the school teacher types. It is an intentional slang word used where I come from), he'll have to add a few word to his lyrics (Please sing for effect)

"And through it all,
He started copying Conté;
Mourinho and Old Nuno;
Just to win a Game.

And through it all,
Mate, he learnt to counter;
You don't need 11 Strikers,
It helps to have defense;

We hoof the ball,
At Every sign of trouble;
No longer do we dribble,
We clear our lines instead

I Love AngeCont Ball Instead....

(Repeat as necessary, until you understand.)

A Glimt of hope

So many frustrating things about us but conceding a goal even when we have a decent performance is near top of the list .The goal for them gives them a foothold so hopefully we snuff it out ,could be a bit nervy something obviously was hoping to avoid .

Great performance and if anything , conceding the late goal might just sharpen us up for the away leg.

Hard to pick a man of the match, all on it.

Would love to see some of that aggressive nature from the likes of Johnson last night being displayed in our league matches as well!

It feels like letting them in the door for sure. I know they’ve a great record at home but I didn’t think they were a good side at all last night. Hopefully the players aren’t deflated by it as it felt like a kick in the balls and lots on the wall back to the station sounded frustrated by it. Typical Spurs though, we refuse to do it the easy way.

Our subs killed us. Richy should have been playing over the hour mark at least. Tel is hopeless. And for all the talk of Kulu should have been the captain, Madders still showed more. It's scary that whenever Madders was off, the opponents can just get back on us so easily.

We got into so many good positions out wide and inside the box but the final ball was so poor . 4-0 wouldn’t have flattered us but I’m not that comfortable with a 2 goal lead and it’s essential that Solanke starts next week cos we’re going to need an out ball .
