Player James Maddison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Was also as clear as day, on the look of Maddison when he went down, and despite all the usual bo!!ocks from Postecoglou that he knew it was quite serious.

No surprise at the news or that it's happened to us.

Every possible reason to fcuk us over, be that the fates, other clubs, pundits, or that we are the only club with 3 Ts in the first 4 letters of it's name, there is always something.

If we get to the final, expect more chiicanery, although tomorrow cannot possibly pass without something seeking to cripple us once again..

It’s a blow to lose Maddison but from a consistently perspective I’m more bothered by Bergvall being injured. That’s been a huge issue this season, a complete lack of consistency from most of the squad.

If we get through tomorrow, good money says Maddison won't be the last season-ending I injury.

Postecoglou has not been good enough. That's undoubtedly surely, but the amount of injuries is mental.

How very sad, for him, for the club and for us, if it's a season-ending injury. His presence changes the atmosphere, the crowd love him and he loves the fans. His coolness in front of goal can be a game-changer and his passing is often incisive. I'm well fed up about this news. He's a massive asset to the team.

Waitwaitwait.

I am fully sure that just like 20-30 pages ago he was "total fucking fairy", "pointless player" and all other labels like this!
Despite, you know, him being CONSISTENTLY our best creator whenever the fat and miserable idiot has given him chance to play.
You know being part of 23 goals this season. Out of which 16 in EPL.

Or is it like a seesaw? Once one (Kulusevski) goes down, then other (Madders) goes up and vice versa?

Not directly aimed at you, but generally this kind of group thinking / herd mentality makes my brain explode.
Madders has always been good creative spark. Throughout the season. And in fact Kulusevski has mostly been playing really well too - as his 20 goal contributions prove. On top of covering most ground from all of our players in first half of the season.

Maddison is our best player. When he doesn’t play we have fuck all creativity. When he plays well we play well. This is a much bigger blow than losing any other player and gives us less of a chance to win this trophy. Gutted for him but us as a support because we need him no matter what some think of him.

After VDV and Romero probably the worst player to get injured right now. Feel like we have somewhat adequate replacements to fill other roles but nobody who does what Maddison can.
