Management Fabio Paratici

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I know your post is tongue in cheek but there’s a large element of seriousness and truth to it.

I cannot for the life of me understand the clamour to get this guy back.

His time here was summed up by mostly horrendous transfers, horrendous managerial targets/appointments and he is quite literally a certified crook to boot, but Spurs fans seem to love him because he looks cool and showed “pashun” by sitting near the dugout roaring and screaming like a clown on match days.

This guy should be absolutely nowhere near the club again, indeed some of his shocking transfers are a big reason for the sorry state we are in right now.
Our "fans" get everything they deserve

Paratici's recruitment has been average and his managerial choices questionable but he's great for stuff behind the scenes, his work with the academy, the infrastructure, stuff like that so there are benefits for having him back.

As long as Lange sticks to recruitment I'm okay with that.

Question you have to ask is why Paratici has not gone before a criminal court , in most countries things like market manipulation, capital gains fraud etc are criminal offences, there was talk of prosecutors in Turin looking into the case but apart from his sporting ban nothing seems to have happened on that front.
Anyway clubs like Juve, Chelsea, Inter , Spurs and Napoli don't seem to mind employing Italians with dodgy backgrounds. :)

Our owner is dodgy hence the conviction for insider training . If uncle Joe was 55 and not 85, he would be in prison in the USA. Fabio is just small fry.

Yeah. Fabio was like the guy lowest on the Juventus totem pole when that entire scandal broke out.

More or less the entire executive level at Juventus got thrown out and banned, including the chairman.

Lo and behold said chairman is now looking to return to Juventus by buying a stake in the club from the rest of his family.

What work with the academy and infrastructure?

Paratici double crossed Moratta at Juve to steal his job and sign Ronaldo, a move which bankrupted Juve and his appointment and recruitment led to them turning from a 7 time champion to also rans, and with embarrassing charges of malpractice to boot.

Moratta moved to Inter and they have become much better than Juve.

Dodgy owners nothing new at Spurs been going on since 1893.

The club became unwittingly involved in a controversy known as the Payne Boots Affair in October 1893. A reserve player from Fulham, Ernie Payne, agreed to play for Spurs but arrived without any kit as it had apparently been stolen at Fulham. As no suitable boots could be found, the club gave him 10 shillings to buy his boots. Fulham then complained to theLondon Football Association that Tottenham had poached their player, and accused them of professionalism breaching amateur rules. On the latter charge, the London Football Association found Tottenham guilty, as the payment for the boots was judged an "unfair inducement" to attract the player to the club.

It's dickhead Stel but it's very interesting what he says about FP

One thing that Paratici has that Lange doesn’t (Bergvall aside) is the power of persuasion.

We all saw how much of a shit sandwich the negotiations for Tel went when it was left to Lange and Levy

I have a vivid mental image now of two victorian chaps with huge mustaches, one from Fulham, and one from Tottenham resorting to good old fisticuffs.
