Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm all for continuity but to consider another season with Ange in charge would bring this club relegation
I have no doubt of that, would you be prepared to risk that on your try another track ethos
My guess is you're in the win a trophy on Wednesday and everything is just great again with your I always win 2nd season cunt
COYFS!!!!!!!!!
A/ he never said that...
B /If you really think the First eleven plus bench is relegation fodder ..then perhaps WATCHING football isn't really your thing , maybe try something a little more obvious, like tag wrestling or formula one.
And NOTHING can rectify this appalling.prem season but a little rational thought and reflection on its Pros and cons would be a positive from a negative rather than resorting to knee jerk unhelpful stupidity.

Funny cause Poch said the exact opposite of this before our CL final which IMO sent out all the wrong messages.

I think he's bluffing anyway, he can't say anything else because of the message it sends out.
He actually said right before this quote that “I’ve been in this position before where the big game is my last…..I qualified for the World Cup and left, won a treble at Celtic and left, won at Brisbane and left”.

He was then pushed on this in the next question and said the “no I don’t think my job here is done” quote.

Ive said it before and I will say it again, if he wins tomorrow night, I couldn’t give a solitary fuck if he’s on the touchline to start next season.

Should he come back in this scenario, he’d still be on an extremely short leash so I’m not too fussed one way or another. A slow start and he’s likely axed early days anyway.

Just lift that fucking trophy!
On the condition Fabio picks the club purchases with one eye on the future: Ange should be treated with the expectation he’s going - no need to waste another window.

It's very possible (I hope) that he won't be here next season but he's not gonna walk, which the question was about, and honestly, why would he? If we win and he gets sacked, the club would probably say " mutual agreement" in the statement. If we lose, the wording would probably be less kind to him.

I'm the same, and I've wanted him sacked for over a year now.

He's made being a Spurs fan miserable. Utterly miserable.

However if we win tomorrow, I couldn't give a fuck if he stays (he won't). Because if he starts next season here, unless he starts the season by winning 6 straight games in the league, he'd be under immense pressure and he'll be sacked.

Just imagine he starts next season, after finishing 17th this season, and it's LLL or LDL or even LWL. If there's more than one or two losses in his first 6 games, he'll be sacked.

It's all pointless anyway because he's 100% getting sacked in a week or two.

"Not until I've got this team relegated"

Absolutely nothing wrong with that journo's question to him. He's bang on. If we lose tomorrow, this season is the worst by a distance for about 40 years.

Hella disrespctful coming from a journo especially a Tottenham Journo who has links to the club, leave that to the fans.

Eve of the biggest game we've had for years, those kind of questions and the timing of it is just disrespecting the club and overshadowing the occasion.

Dan KP got caught slipping

Thing is, it’s just normal and acceptable to throw disrespect like that around with Spurs and nobody calls it out.

This time it was

I understand ange being motivated by comments about being a clown.
He hasn't done himself any favours though, the chelsea debacle last season along with, terrible results latter part of last season and got worse this one.
Poor attention to detail with tactical and defensive set up at times, being a joke across the premier league.
Add in, his ridiculous stroppy post match interviews, the press are now into him hoping he fails.
Tomorrow night I think, sees ange win a trophy that improves his CV then, he sails off into the sunset leaving the club to recruit and recover once again.

I think Dan was just trying to rile him up and remind him how fucked off the fanbase actually are. When you hear him speak on The Tottenham Way he is completely fed up. I only heard this bit, where does he say he is a clown?

Dan wrote a piece in the Standard the other day were he said that Postecouglu's legacy balances between being seen as a hero and a clown.

Which confirmes that Ange or someone around him reads the stuff being written.

I just found it, thanks. He's said to Dan before that he has read his articles. He is so soft centred, cant have that in our manager. Absolutely nothing wrong with the article though btw.

Ange came out firing in that press conference. No timid, scared of the moment type stuff.
Before the biggest achievement we could be having since 41 years ago, the agenda from the journalists, and worse, some of our fans, towards him leading to the final is nothing short of fucking disgraceful...

I wanted him out, as I honestly never expected us to be in the final of Europa. Under this circumstance change, I'm actually feeling sorry for him to be facing all these crap while trying to bring us the biggest win in decades, and I hope he gave us all the middle finger after lifting the trophy and called it quits tomorrow.

Credit to him, his vibe is way better than Poch could handle no matter how many lemons he had for the CL final 6 years ago. Even if we lose tomorrow, what has he got to lose? He's not getting respect in anyways. He's already sentenced.
