When has he ever not done that? Kane?Will DL allow him to get within 1 year to the end of his contract? Doubt it.
Apparently United and City both after him.He needs to think that through. Right now they have at least two players ahead of him in his position. He’s a good prospect but he’s not getting a start there most weeks. He needs to go where he’ll play most weeks. I’m not saying that’s us (though I’d pick him over Johnson/Kulusevski) but not PSG or similar. It could stall him.
Special case
Ah that will be why.
French Creole speaker not necessarily French native speaker but would sound like one to me
His hair is atrocious though. Can’t be dealing with that.5 goals and 10 assists in ligue 1. 2 goals and 2 assists in the CL.
His parents moved to Ottawa when he was aged 6 where he attended a French speaking school before moving to Belgium aged 18 and 2 years later moved to Lille in France where he's played for 5 years.
So he's been in a French speaking environment pretty much all of his life, and in last 5 years in France where his speech is bound to have lost pretty much any foreign accent (Walloon in Belgium) and become even more French.
I’d disagree. The players who’ve managed to get out have had to literally go on strike to force a move. Berbatov, Modric, Bale. Levy is notoriously bad (or good) at selling players, and often keeps them too long to spite them rather than lose a negotiation. Reguilon, Gil, Ndombele … our recent history is littered with player who we paid wages to when they weren’t part of our future and eventually leave for nothing or next to nothing. If Romero has a good CL and then a good WC we’ll easily get our money back or make a profit. Unless he then stays another year to leave on a free, which would be a win/win situation IMO. As I said, if he agitates for a move cash in now, but only if we get the right deal.
Romero is a bit rash and hot-headed, never learning from his regular mistakes. If his heart isn't in the club or his head has been turned, he needs to go for maximum profit, not on a free, later, when he already doesn't care.I’d disagree. I've read we've been linked to Jhon Lucumi. a CB who currently plays for Bologna and the Colombia national team.
26 years old, left footed. Capped 28 times for Colombia.I've read we've been linked to Jhon Lucumi. a CB who currently plays for Bologna and the Colombia national team.
Apparently it's a common spelling of the name in South America, particularly Columbia.I have an issue with people called John whose parents don’t know how to spell the name correctly.
Jon because Jonathan = Fine
John = John also fine
Jhon = WTF are you doing? Even autocorrect won’t tolerate it
This is all well and good to say now, but after 10 minutes when he's two footed the ref and been sent off it doesn't mean much.
Thanks, I'll be expecting him to score an own goal now that you've said that.Fortunately, Romero is the player I trust the most to show up in a Final and have a big game
