It's the best way possible. The season is just ending. He will leave on the high and as a winner. Always welcomed back as a pundit etc. It just makes sense. He's no stranger to two year stints and moving on after. Ange would take it all day I believe. He came, he won, he left. The club will try to build on this cup success with someone else. New gaffer will come and immediately have a chance of delivering the Super Cup and then preparing for a league and CL campaigns.

The man said he's gonna win a trophy at a club like ours who don't normally win, big balls.

I have wanted Ange out for so long and I am not about to tell anyone how to fan... especially if this morning you are running off the adrenaline and euphoria of last night and are wavering. We all hear you... just enjoy and don't worry about Ange. It's Levy's job to be rational...

We got smoked by prem sides all year long- even with our first choice players available. Why would we do better in the FA cup then? The EL is pretty much the only cup we could have really won based on our form vs other Prem sides NOT named man utd or that were relegated.

The year before under Ange we came 5th.
It's a tough call - if we get Xavi there is big case.
For Irol , Frank and Glassner - I am not sure it's enough of an upgrade.

The biggest issue is the signings- particularly the front three.
If Ange thinks we can play with a front three like we did yesterday next season - then he should go. Because the football will be turgid.

The biggest fallacy is we play entertaining football - zero shots on target and a scrappy goal is all we produced yesterday - and it was no accident.

I am fairly confident Ange knows this..
But if he c does stay- he won't get more than about six games to improve.

Yes, unless we get a really smart upgrade, which there are no guarantees, remember we finished 5th in his first season. We've all been desperate to get a trophy and we will be grateful for that.

The key thing is the transfer window. All Ange got from Levy in the last year was Solanke (not a prolific scorer), a bunch of kids for the future, and then Danso in January. It wasn't exactly ambitious signings. Now, with CL football, I expect better, so maybe Ange would do better with a better squad, and less injuries.

You can't just brutally sack him after basically winning the UEFA Cup. Something kinder, more mutual perhaps, as he's ended by doing us all a favour. When we kept on finishing 3rd, 4th and 5th, everyone, us and other fans, went on about not winning a trophy. Now we have, it shuts up a lot of people. Now it's up to Levy to get his big fat wallet open and push on, like we didn't do for Poch.
