I just realised... because of injuries/forced to focus on EL:
We've got CL spot next season. ~£100m in revenue.
We've got an extra £25m prize cash for doing it through the EL.
We've got a major cup we can be proud of.
We've played our whole squad in 5 comps through this season, giving priceless experience to the younger lads (something we wouldn't have done without the injuries). Making us stronger for the future.
EDIT: And we're playing Inter or PSG in the Super Cup on 13th August.
If we hadn't had the injuries, all we'd have is:
Probable CL qualification and ~£100m in revenue.
Maybe a minor cup.
So we're one cup, £25m, entry into the Super Cup and some priceless experience for the squad better off for this unicorn of a season.
