Are you implying that Ange has some sort of plan? Like he actually knows what he’s doing ?
The men in white coats should be at your front door in the morning if so.
Has anyone seen this

Yes, I think the CL final created a hole in my soul that I am now glad is filled. It's quite scary to think how fast time has moved on without a trophy for us. That being said, I think it is just age because I remember people talking about how crazy it was that liverpool hadn't won the league in 20 years, and now with this season I think it is 22 years since Woolwich last won it!Aye, I couldn’t give a shite. We beat who we played. We won a big shiny thing. Lovely.
It's been a bit up and down! My last post was in late 2017 and I was juggling being a new parent with coming on here and finding the aggro that was on here (as I mentioned before, it was probably peak Arcspace/John Thomas era, with accusations of sin bin syndicates etc, so wasn't a fun place to be. Oh and Gibbsy). I had kidney stones around that time and some operations for it, and felt like a break. Lost father-in-law quite young to cancer since then, and had some undiagnosed heart/seizure thing that resulted in a hospital stay, which I think was work-related stress, so I've had a read of the forums now-and-again to see what the mood is like.
Has anyone seen thisnot seen since Tuesday evening, another one that was fuming at the final whistle on Wednesday, no doubt

If you check the actual facts, hamstrings were not the cause of most very important injuries. They were mainly VDV issues. Vic, Maddison, Son, Kulu, Dom, Cuti which were very much missed had injuries that had nothing to do with training or playing intensity.please answer why we had so many injuries.
If the word "luck" features, go away and do it again

entirely sef-inflicted.
Even Celtic had a ton of hammies and they can coast in 90% of their SPL matches.
OK Ange Inners:
where do we go from here?
A low block Jose style?
Because that win the other day was like Dyche ball on steroids. Is that the plan next season? Hoofing the ball up to the half way line to no one just to get some respite at the back.
Because you need to give your heads a wobble guys. Was it Real Madrid we beat? Was it Barca? Was it PSG? Was it LFC?
No. It was the team that will finish in 16th in the PL. Below all those giants like Brentford, Palace, FFC, Cherries. A MUFC that have dived this season under that abolsute clown Amorim. A man who insists on playing a formation that he has no players for. They're on about ONE PPG last few weeks. A team where ONE of their players, Bruno F, would get into ours. ONE. We are better everywhere else on the pitch.
And in the cold light of day, that game the other day was utter shit. Yes we won (that's the importatn bit of course) but if you think we have to play that way to beat the worst MUFC team I've seen since 1974 then I'm out. And that worst team for 50 years still gave us a really uncomfortable 30 mins I've ever had watching Spurs.
If that's waht we want, then it would make sense to get the Real McCoy for that plan. Step forward Allardyce or Dyche.
You make some good points here mate, for sure. But don’t worry about what comes next just yet, we can’t control that, just enjoy the next few daysOK Ange Inners:

We've got what we wanted, a trophy win after all these years, Ange got he wanted, a massive "fuck you" to the doubters and the press.
Can we all part ways into the sunset happy with that? You cannot finish on 21+ defeats in a 38 game season and keep your job at the 9th richest club in the world, surely, regardless of winning a cup? Trying to rationalise the league form by claiming we gave up on it early is not some vindicating statement, it's a damning indictment of Ange's ability to handle multiple competitions with clever squad and game management. We're in the Champions League next season, do we need to get battered in all 8 league stage games to get back in the top 6 next year under Ange? Can't we have a manager (like Emery at Villa who btw don't exactly have a very deep squad either) that does us justice in both competitions?
Ange can get good work off the back of this victory, other clubs will look at the squad togetherness and now his nuanced approach to getting over the line when it matters and want to take a chance on him, but he simply is not good enough for us and still needs to go.

The league season has been disgraceful, but that’s for others to sort out now
No offence mate but your agenda is boring, I've been a long time lurker of this forum and i've decided to sign up and post tonight solely because I'm sick of you stinking up this thread with your arrogant negativity.
You don't rate the Europa league and you never have, you've been downplaying our European run for months in this thread and I'm convinced you haven't even celebrated our greatest night in 17 years because all of your posts have been about how we only faced rubbish opposition.
The fact is Ange has won a major European trophy and in 40 years time nobody will give a damn that we finished `17th in the league, he won us our first trophy in 17 years and our first European trophy in 41 years, all the years of mockery from our rivals ended as soon as we lifted that trophy. That achievement of winning a trophy and securing champions league football + bragging rights over our rivals is superior to securing champions league football and winning no trophies.
There are also 2 mitigating circumstances that you refuse to acknowledge. The first is how many managers would recover from losing one of the best players of all time (Kane) in their first season of managing the club, a player that our whole club had been built around, not to mention losing an inform Son .. not many managers would recover from this. Can you imagine Poch Conte and Mourinho without Kane?
Secondly.. October to December we were decimated with injuries and from January to may Ange clearly calculated that winning the league was out of the equation and we needed to win a trophy so he put all his eggs into the European basket and the players clearly bought into that vision as well. They took a risk and it paid off massively but this whole lost 21 games nonsense doesn't even take into account that simple fact that the players didn't give a damn about winning a few pointless premier league games when the European trophy was there to be captured.
I refuse to hold that decision against the gaffer because it paid off.. He deserves the chance to bring in quality players and build a legacy, he is the man to take us forward and I fully believe that. I don't like the fact that you and other posters on here almost bully people who dare to hold this opinion.
Yes, I can imagine it, because it's not difficult to achieve, you're talking about professionals who are paid tens or hundreds of thousands of pounds a week to do their job, and they will do their job or fuck off elsewhere in the summer window. Not to mention not being funny but this squad just finished 17th, you can count on one hand the number of players in this team that you would call "indispensable".Ange isn’t getting sacked.
Let’s hope he learned from the mistakes he admitted that he made in the summer last year.
The players clearly love him and they are now Europa League champions together.
The targets we have seen leaked the most were mid table guys with no silverware on their CVs like Iraola, Frank, and Silva. No doubt good coaches but can you imagine any of them trying to get buy in from these players after this?
No chance! It would be a disaster.
Narcissist, always seems to think he'd knows best. Makes everything about himI genuinely can't think of one single point of comparison between Ange Postecoglou and Donald Trump.
What the fuck are you talking about not seem since Tuesday ????? I’ve been posting plenty all week you little vermin rat.
I’m not a coward like you. That’s your MO you little weasel.
I ws willing to put everything on hold till Monday morning but the clowns now crowing about him havent done likewise

explain Celtic fans coming on here November 2023 saying "injuries mate its waht he does". And that's in a league where Celtic can coast 90% of the games. Maybe you wernt on the board at the time?I think that this 'training and style of playing caused the injuries' song should come to an end.
There he is, came out from under his rock, finally
We need some of this for you and your stinking ilk.
