Match Tottenham vs Brighton Sunday 25th May 16:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Looking at Ange’s expression he knows he’s cooked.

Where does any of us see the light at the end of the tunnel?

He could spend another 150 million in the Summer transfer window, but where does anyone see us improving?

Where has the progress come in the PL this season.

Take away the EL where most of the sides we played would be below Saints, Ipswich and Leicester in the PL table and what is left?

Great achievement and agreed you can only beat what is put out against you, but doesn't that apply to the Premier League?

It all comes down to how we're defining success and I guess for many fans the trophy erases everything else. Not sure what the standard will be next season. Is it now a trophy and anywhere in the first half of the table? Something less and a trophy? After watching 50 matches here in the US on various streaming services I can say the trophy was great but the rest of the season wasn't very enjoyable. Maybe a cup matters more at this point in Spurs history, but the Premier League games still matter a lot.
As much as I loath watching how we play, and how easily we get dominated, especially in the PL - I think what Ange has achieved for us with this EL trophy, 100% outweighs our atrocious PL form.

He has removed the shackles for other managers coming in, he has largely removed the spursy tag of us never quite being able to get over the line and win when it really matters - and that, my friend, is worth it's weight in gold.

If I ever meet him in person one day, I'll be buying him beers all evening.

god you are deluded

And next year where you don't get a trophy, there's no parade, and Spurs are just above mid-table? The grind matters.

No that’s the cycle of life ; in my first two and a half decades of supporting our Club we won a trophy every four years: and we even got relegated.

I loved every moment of it ; and we hardly ever came close to winning the League.

Trust me it was never ever a grind .

Maybe you had to have been there ; I’m sorry you weren’t.

i think most of them improve massively under a proper football manager. kulu has been frustrating but remember him for 6 months under conte? he looked elite! the ability is there with him, he needs sorting out, i wouldnt discard him yet.

davies should of been gone 7 years ago, never been good enough. werner is off anyway , as is reg. drag i agree, looks pony, id give danso a fair crack under someone proper...to be fair you can kind of say the same for drag, but i think danso looks better from what weve seen anyway.

tel would be an horrendous signing, its been an awful loan spell and he hasnt even looked like a footballer to me. i reckon i could go and find someone better in non league.

vic and kinsky id both give a year under someone proper. neither are horrific, kinsky is elite with his feet. keepers need to be confident and comfortable, theyve played under a clown who plays a system that completely exposes the defence.

sarr and biss i think both would be good in midfields where they are the leg work, the rest of the midfield is the silk. midfields do need legs in them tho, look at united, they might have good footballers but physically they just get overrun.
It's absolute rubbish to think players improve massively impacted under different managers. How is Sancho getting on? Sterling?

We’ve won it twice in near on a century and a half of our glorious existence; unless you’ve been completely water-boarded by Sky sports ; why can’t you appreciate that other trophies also matter. Not least because of the drama involved in winning them .

We’re won 16 Cups v 2 First Div League titles ; which of those two option make us a Great Club ?

none of them have played under a cowboy like postecoglou. you cant even call him a manager, he has 9 men standing on the halfway line FFS! puts fucking fullbacks into cam spots!

just watch the improvement when an actual football person comes in. the squad is not as bad as whats being made out.

maddison was leicester's best player, bissouma was brightons, solanke was bournemouth's, now they apparently are all shit and wouldnt even get into their former clubs, we can sign anyone you like under postecoglou and 3 months time everyone will be saying they are shit as well.

under this manager for 2 years players confidence will be on the floor. im not saying we have a great squad, but its far fucking better than 17th!

Hope you enjoyed your day KentuckyHotSpur .
Forget Buckingham Palace, you've met proper royalty.
COYS, CSWY.
Thank you sir, it was a truly amazing experience. Meeting several from on here was so nice, thank you to Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman , Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor , and several others.

Before the game it was joyous.
Lotta singing during the game, but actually seemed a bit odd, lack of and edge to it I think. Natural after the last few days.

I take zero from the on the pitch activity.
Could tell the boys just didn’t have their legs (or brains!)

Whether you are Ange in, out, or on the fence, today is not a day to judge.

Loved the celebration post game.

Thanks again to the forum for the advice, welcoming my wife and I, etc.

A special day.

Cowboy or no cowboy; he’s won us more than his 8 predecessors put together and even more than Mikel
( who’s had twice as many seasons ) .

Imagine someone criticising a Manager who wins the third biggest Cup in World football just because he was abject in a competition that
( apart from the money ) actually doesn’t matter a great deal given that he qualified us for the CL .

We did better than Woolwich this season; end of .

yea a 1PPG for 18 months should not be criticised loooool! give him a new contract! he deserves it.

no ones saying the europa league win wasnt great, but lets face facts! mason would of won that comp if postecoglopu was sacked months ago! the squads won that, had fuck all to do with the manager. theyve won it despite him.

answer me this john duncan? do you think football managers send on teenagers in cup finals with 7 mins left, defending a 1-0 and give them no instructions at all?

It’s not strictly the defeats at home to Crystal Palace and Brighton that bother me given the circumstances , it’s more the way we had our arses totally handed to us in both those games that is the concern.

The ones who actually win cup finals would seem to do so ; by recent evidence. You just witnessed it and pointed it out to me .
