Players seemed a bit flat on the lap of honour. Shame. Needed to pick themselves up really and make it a party. Can’t help feeling the size of today’s defeat has deflated the occasion somewhat.
Shame.
They have never stopped partying in the last 3 days and they just got thrashedPlayers seemed a bit flat on the lap of honour. Shame. Needed to pick themselves up really and make it a party.

They didnt seem flat at allPlayers seemed a bit flat on the lap of honour. Shame. Needed to pick themselves up really and make it a party.
Maybe it was how it came over on tv as just speaking to neighbour opposite and his son was at the stadium today and said the post match atmosphere was good.
May have affected today but not my overall feeling. Can’t help feeling the size of today’s defeat has deflated the occasion somewhat.

Nah, if anything it's quite funny in the context of the whole season and the trophy win. Can’t help feeling the size of today’s defeat has deflated the occasion somewhat.

Gotta be an achievement to get the most losses without being relegated surely!Nah, if anything it's quite funny in the context of the whole season and the trophy win.
Don't know if I'm ready for tomorrow, as still recovering from the last couple of days. Please forgive me If I repeat myself in this post, as I really don't know what day it is at the moment.
Every spare minute is spent looking at footage from Wednesday and Friday. When I watch the game, I only watch our goal, Micky's clearance and the last five minutes. And I still expect us to concede from that last corner.
From what I've seen and heard, I think the most common emotion all round was sheer and utter relief. Grown men (and women) were crying openly at the final whistle. We were sitting behind our bench so saw the trophy ceremony clearly, but the best view of the celebrations was definitely behind the goal.
Disgraceful that Bentancur, Romero and Sonny didn't get medals on the pitch - why someone couldn't have run off the pitch and grabbed them, I'll never know. However, won't dwell on that as it was a magical day and night otherwise.
The fanzone had a brilliant atmosphere and it worried me that we would be worn out by the time we got to the stadium. Paul Coyte and the Legends were great at keeping the atmosphere going. James Black was the musical entertainment and those of you who frequent the Shelf Bar will be familiar with his work - he does some great adaptions to popular tunes (love the waka waka one, couldn't get it out of my head on Thursday) and loved his duet with Sandro playing guitar to Glory Glory Hallelujah. AJ Tracey and Michael MacIntyre also took to the stage.
Highlight for me was when I managed to get to the front at the side of the stage and got Mabbsey to sign my 1991 Cup Final shirt. I said to him that the shirt was a lot baggier in '91, and he said so was his!
Also saw Expressions, Richard Curtis, Luca from 'Love Island' and Paul from 'My Mum, Your Dad'.
Met some people who I haven't seen for simply ages, so good to catch up with them.
My favourite bit of footage was seeing Sonny telling everybody how he banged his head on the trophy.
I'm knackered now. If I think of anything else that may be of interest, I'll post again tomorrow.
Wow!
And so the penny drops!
I don’t think so , the players have been on a bender since Wednesday , had we took it seriously we would have not lost by more than 1 goal! Can’t help feeling the size of today’s defeat has deflated the occasion somewhat.
Shame.
