Definitely would sign him on a free, he is only 33 and still has a couple of really good seasons in him. Would be wonderful experience for Bergvall, Gray etc.. to play alongside and learn from one of the best.

Wages are about £20million a season, so I'm sure Levy is having a laugh that somebody has the audacity to even suggest signing him.
De Bruyne with his injury record should never come here if Ange is staying, give it 3 months and he'll be permanently bound to a wheelchair.

Emotionally I would like to keep Ange, Son and Richy. But my head suspects all 3 this is the best time to go as it could end in tears if they come into next season.

still a fucking naughty player if you can limit how much his legs have to run, have it set up so hes literally just playing two touch and doesnt need to run much and hes still a weapon. needs to be more of a sitting player now, hes got the technical ability to run games still.

We won’t pay the salary, no chance of signing him if United are in for him. They’d pay double what we’d offer.

Don’t forget that we only pay Solanke £90k a week. No way Levy spends £60m on a player plus 200k a week on top.

Whilst this is true a player like him I'd imagine needs to be convinced of the project and if you have any aspirations as a footballer then you'd stay well away from them for now.

Money talks sadly, his agent will probably get all the cream offered to him and tell Mbuemo where to go.

Mbuemo by the way is better than a winger and a striker. I would keep Richy and not get a top forward if it meant Mbeumo.

Ange 100% agree, Sonny if the next man in steps him down to VC and seriously limits his minutes I think may as well stay at this point, we won't get much for selling him and I'd rather let him have a swan song as a Spurs cup winner now we're over the line, Richy agree if we can recoup at least half the sale value but if not I actually think he's a useful tool when needed in ugly games and has got us over the line at times with his goals, very hard to keep him fit but he is absolutely lethal in the air and could be useful as such for the next manager.

If Son stays he will need to know he is a bench player now, his body is clearly in decline sadly.

United won 2 trophies in the last two seasons and played a European final in this one. They are still a winning club despite their struggles.

They forgot to win on Wednesday though didn't they. ;)

I don't know what that is meant to mean really, they can attract players with wages but players with any sense will steer well clear of them, Cunha isn't going to them because of the project, he's been trying to get out of Wolves for ages and he signed for them without knowing whether they'll be a CL team or not.

We are going to look so weak if United after the shambles get Chuna and Mbeumo and we are left scratching our arse. If you stay still you go backwards.

Well yeah, genuine top class players with ambitions to win the biggest titles will not go there if they have offers from better clubs.

But if the choice is between joining Tottenham for £90k a week or joining United for £200k a week, almost every player is choosing United.

I think the evidence has been loud and clear enough to see this season for that to happen now, last season he had a very strong start (along with the rest of the team) and had injury issues which left question marks over whether it was just poor form or relative decline, I think we've clearly seen now he has lost that explosiveness that made him so dangerous as a wide player and it's hard to find another role for him to play since he doesn't really excel at anything else, however as a figurehead and dressing room personality you will find it harder to come by a better man than Sonny.

Obviously lol but we don't know what his demands are or what they or us are willing to go to.

I'm just saying that it's not as cut and dry merely saying offering more wages is what pushes a player over the edge for the only deciding factor or signing for a club.
