I mean in terms of the current squad, they clearly aren't capable of winning a league game with these tactics, so ange will want more of 'his' style of players (you know, footballers who have the ability to gloss over a lack of coaching).
We'd certainly need another wing back, maybe two, to rotate and cover for when porro and udogie are run into the ground

I can't agree. That was a well setup team. If an Italian team had done this to win a one off cup final we would be lauding it as a masterclass but because it's Ange you're making up stuff that never happened. I want him gone but he gets credit for ending a barren spell of one league cup since 1991.

Be interesting to see who we are linked with over the summer (potential players in). The longer there is nothing substantive the more it looks like DL isn’t backing Ange. If we sign a couple of worldies early on (yeah, I know, I know) then maybe DL is doubling down on Ange.

yea....whats thats got to do with this? fact is we got seriously fucking lucky, we are 17th for a reason, its about time we got lucky as a club, but if the club doesnt sort itself out it will just be a nice night, theres a lifeline been given to it to move up to the level it should be. we could easily get relegated next year if we keep this clown. 20 months of league results indicate this! one very favourable cup run doesnt turn us into a good side.
