sane doesnt seem like hes the same player from a few years ago but its still a no brainer when you see what our current wingers are like. instead of wasting 30m on tel you put it into sane and you get far more bang for your buck.
Doesn't he want some ridiculous signing on fee and 200k a week in wages... no exactly a no brainer for a player with very little to play for once that ink dry's. Not for me. I want hungry players.

Weird post. Zubimendi is gonna bang next season unfortunately.

Cardoso has a great physicality and that’s something we’ve missed in midfield for a while. His passing is not expansive, and I’d rather get some who can pass it forward reliably and switch the play quickly.
Weird response. You've probably seen a few highlight clips and concluded that Zubimendi is the next Xavi. He's not. He's a good player but for what he does, you can pick those up for half that fee. He will no doubt look better in the Woolwich team as he will be surrounded by better players but he doesn't move the needle for them. Screen's well, recycles the ball well, nothing expansive to his game, doesn't score, doesn't assist - see Partey and pretty much every holding midfielder in the PL. Also, saying Cardoso is physical is like saying Sarr is physical. Neither could scare the skin of a rice pudding!!!

What I saw today is that he is hesitant to sign a new contract with Bayern with a base salary of 10 million euro. If 10 mil guaranteed isn't enticing enough for him I wonder what he is after.

I guess he could be after guaranteed playing time but that's not really the vibe that I get from Sané.

I haven't followed this saga with any regularity, but what little that I have seen makes me think that he wants to stay in Europe at least into the world cup. And I want to say that I remember that his girlfriend/wife did not want to leave England.

It may be a matter of playing time. He only played more than 50 minutes in 17 Bundesliga games this season. A lot of games were he got taken off around the 60 minute mark and a couple were he stated on the bench. 11 goals and 6 assists is not a bad haul I guess.

But the big question mark here is his motivation.

Yeah not really watched him the last couple of seasons but did rate him before.
Just feel like all 3 from Bayern (Sane, Gnabry, Coman) are past there best now.

This season he only had two injury spells according to transfermarkt, one of which was over the summer after having surgery on a groin problem that plagued him all of last season. And then he basically spent August doing his own pre-season.

I get the spontaneous vibe that he is probably just "done" with Bayern and needs something new.

Well the reports are hes moved to london so odds are hes looking for a club in london. I think we should take a shot on him but his wages and a big sign on fee could be a stumbling block. At 29 he could be wanting a 4 year deal and if he wants 200k a week then levy might not entertain it.

You are correct on Zubimendi. He’s neat and tidy but that’s it. Nothing special.
I know very little about Cardoso as I’ve not seen him play. The fact that teams aren’t clambering for him makes me think he’s not going to improve us much if any.
