Links to Delap worry me. I’d be happier with either Solanke or Delap plus a higher scoring centre forward as opposed to Solanke and Delap .
I havent seen loads of him but what i have he strikes me as a bit of a pre injury Harry Winks. Neat and tidy with the ball but not really a defensive midfielder, not really creative, just all a bit meh. Lets be honest its because he's on a free and gettable not because its who we really need.

Gomes and Tel being the main midfield/forward investments would be massively disappointing.

I sorta know what you mean, although delap really could be the next mix of shearer & Kane, a high high ceiling ..... if we were not in champions league id be all over him... as we have cl we need a ready made goal scorer
i like him, so wouldn't mind but it's good ange realises that buying nothing but unproven potential was a mistake last summer and jan and he isn't repeating that again
