Everyone is after the same strikers. Liverpool, Woolwich, Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle and, ahem, Everton.

Lucas kinda? He was established at PSG but lost his spot. When was the last time we signed an established top player? Van der Vaart 15 years ago?
id rather grealish, but if sane can be done then its a big upgrade, tel looks hungry.... but hes shit.Doesn't he want some ridiculous signing on fee and 200k a week in wages... no exactly a no brainer for a player with very little to play for once that ink dry's. Not for me. I want hungry players.
As was the case with Van der Vaart at Real Madrid. Very similar profiles.
Absolutely true, but that was also true of Van Der Vaart. Both he and Lucas were tipped for superstardom as teenagers.I guess…kinda? I feel like when we signed Lucas he was viewed as a player who had failed to live up to the hype.
absolute joke aint it! what have they been watching in the games to think its a good signing! how bad does someone have to be to not 'impress' on loan if tel gets signed after what weve seen. its actually embarrassing business! they should have just signed him without the whole 'loan' bollox!lol Tel.
Just make Werner permanent whilst you're at it.
Joke of a club.
Fucking done with it.absolute joke aint it! what have they been watching in the games to think its a good signing! how bad does someone have to be to not 'impress' on loan if tel gets signed after what weve seen. its actually embarrassing business! they should have just signed him without the whole 'loan' bollox!

Precisely
The best way to keep him is to sign some good players. All the guys wants is the same as us. Success.Best way to keep Romero…….give him the captaincy. Also give him 4 weeks off before and after every International game.
You mean big Nodombele, is he coming back?
thats not happened once hahaha. would love to see it. we tried it with gio and ndombele and it turned out to be a disaster.
Ah, that was BIG but it wasn't CLEVER!thats not happened once hahaha. would love to see it. we tried it with gio and ndombele and it turned out to be a disaster.
Yeah. We shouldn't be taking any old cast off from a bigger team. But it is always worth keeping an eye open for a quality player that is stuck on the bench at one of those clubs and is looking for a new opportunity. As was the case with Van der Vaart at Real Madrid. Very similar profiles.
The last minute deadline day swoop for such a well-known and entertaining player out of absolutely nowhere was a product of a different era of the football business and about as fan-pleasing of a move as you could imagine. But the reality is we've made many much bigger transfers in the years since.
Star name flair players are still out there to be had of course. Buyer beware.
Don't think we'll go for Angel Gomes, I think it's more his agent putting his name around to get a better deal elsewhere. Not sure he's really what we need.
Vic plays for the club that finished fourth from bottom and conceded more goals than anyone baring wolves outside the relegation zone... Leicester struggled with Gordon banks in goal and stoke didn't do much better with him.... Vic isn't a terrible keeper, just don't think he generates the air of confidence and stability a defence needs to prosper..Speaking to a Southampton supporting pal.. reckons ramsdale accounted 4 himself v well despite having an absolute nightmare defence in front of him, reckons he likes a party though, which could account, in part, for the midget getting rid from the arse wipes after him having, unfortunately,a pretty impressive season if I recall. And I'm sure he's had enough time to work on his distribution. Which apparently was part of the reason they got rid .You'd rather take the former Woolwich keeper who has had 3 out of 4 clubs that he has started for relegated than Vicario?
