50-60m… sell him. I love him but he’s not a consistent pl player anymore
The disrespect Romero gets is insane. Even his leadership qualities are so underrated. This false narrative that he's some loose cannon who thinks he's better than Spurs.
He hasn't had a red card in over 18 months. He captained us in the Europa League final and got MOTM in the same game. He also got player of the tournament! Yet some fans don't rate him, think he's a liability, think we'll be lucky to get 50m for him and think Guehi from Palace would be an upgrade?
Honestly the disrespect some Spurs player get on here is worse than anything you'd hear from rival fans. Romero was so clutch in that Europa League final. The way he marched the team past the United players down to the Spurs end for the huddle before kick off. The way he gathered the whole team in a huddle before going in at half time. He stepped up. Against all the chaos, against all the Tottenham history of choking finals, Romero was the coolest customer in Bilbao last week. Respect him.
£60m would be crazy money for Son. We'd have to take it.50-60m… sell him. I love him but he’s not a consistent pl player anymore
I'd sell him for anything above 25m. The club were considering not even given him an extension and letting him go for free next summer. They'll take any offer!50-60m… sell him. I love him but he’s not a consistent pl player anymore

You really do attempt to rewrite history at every opportunity don't you?The disrespect Romero gets is insane. Even his leadership qualities are so underrated. This false narrative that he's some loose cannon who thinks he's better than Spurs.

prior to champions league qualification I think the plan was to not replace him and trust Danso to be a starter with Vuskovic/Phillips being a rotational player.Lucky to get 50m for Romero and who exactly do we replace him with for 50m that is better?
Why is Geuhi a replacement for Romero? Should buy him anyway and have a strong squad
Yes that would be the most likely scenario with Levy. Hence why I think it would be a massive set back to lose Romero.prior to champions league qualification I think the plan was to not replace him and trust Danso to be a starter with Vuskovic/Phillips being a rotational player.
Maybe the plan has changed now though.
Yeah hopefully. I'm just saying the club were considering letting him go for free next Summer so they would be willing to listen to any offers north of 20m I'd guessSaudi can pay much more than that, they're after big name players like Son and will pay a lot for them.

Thing is, we can't continue being all these potentially good players and not give them an opportunity.Yes that would be the most likely scenario with Levy. Hence why I think it would be a massive set back to lose Romero.
You can be sure one of Danso and VDV will get injured for 3 months next season and we're straight back to Dragusin/Davies or ever Gray filling in every game.
