Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

TBH I'm really pissed off that we won the Europa and I just felt melancholy a few days after. I don't think my mood will improve until we have something to look forward to, and that is only going to happen with a new manager.

I say that wholeheartedly as someone who really wanted Postecoglou to come to us from Celtic.

It would be nice to sign someone who I thought could change a game, as I don't think we have anyone like that any more.
Don't leave us hanging.... Who would be your choices to replace Ange?
Mine is primarily Glasner... With second choice Xavi... As long as he is not just looking for a pay day

Our women’s facilities are meant to be good but our women’s team is miles down the table. There seems to be a trend under this ownership for amazing facilities and shit performance.

It’s like being in Gordon Ramsey’s kitchen and having one of us as the chef.
A toxic sense of entitlement, low expectations and complacency with failure got baked into the walls of that building over the last several years.

It's an attitude that flows straight from the top. Daniel Levy will never, ever operate with a competitive mindset, it is simply not in his nature and that pervades the entire operation.

We hope for chip-chipping away at that problem from within, and breaking the trophy drought is a big fucking deal in that regard and a beachhead toward a different culture, but it will always be with at least one hand tied behind the back as long as Levy is in charge. It permeates everything at the club.

True. Company I work for now has a CEO who is ambitious but smart, thoughtful and quite a nice person to boot. It’s a very good company to work for, it was in a mess prior to him being here. Really hit home to me about how leadership from the top create and drives the culture. Even with the EL it must be obvious to everyone how badly we need a cultural change.

Delap to Chelsea has flop written all over it.

He won't hack the pressure. Chelsea will sign another striker, possibly even two, for huge money, and Delap will spend the season on the bench, playing the league cup, or coming on as a sub.

He'll move on to a mid table side in a couple of seasons.

It's going to be another disappointing window IMO.

I hope I am wrong, but as others have said, we are still hamstrung by Levy. Who is risk averse in the market, and lacks ambition which other top 6 clubs have in abundance.

Can only hope Paratici and others can work some miracles.

Tyler Dibblings going to be a really good player. I’ll have a bet if anyone wants it that he’ll be in the England side within 3 years.

Don’t think the club should suddenly forget all young players. It’s about ability and potential. I thought at the time Gray was a bad signing as I didn’t see that much potential. I’d take another Bergval though.

Definitely need more experienced difference makers too but I’m not having it that Dibbling would be a bad move

The club has told us their transfer plans prior actions. The media is telling us the transfer plans with the links.

We will continue to go after younger players with potential while signing 1-2 proven players. All we can do is hope that the scouting and development teams can get the best out the younger players.

The club is not giving out the wages it needs to compete with the biggest clubs. So we'll continue to go after the Bergvalls, Grays, Tels, Odoberts. Sarr, Udogie Spences

It's shitty, we literally have to hope these guys grow into a core of proven players as we onboard more younger players every year, but it's how we're being run.

Yeah, unfortunately the lack of joined up thinking since Poch has seen us fritter away hundreds of millions and now when we’re in a position to push on after a trophy all Levy can see if the losses being posted and most likely the unstable financial situation on the world generally.

And we've struggled to sell players lately. I'm sure Levy wants more players that could attract big price tags.

I am never one to seek miracles, especially in a Premier League that makes it so difficult but...

Cnut club......already about to sign Delao.

City already started their rebuild.

United - bizarrely. Arresting a decent, but not great Cunha.

Woolwich about to sign Zubimendi.

Newcastle, only constrained by PFR.

Liverpool, soon too enter the fray. Not a doubt.

Us....???????? Dud manager and even if he wasn't, you just can't imagine a plan

Not about spending stupid money but working quickly on whatever your strategy.

There is a plan. You just don't like it.
