Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think he is one of those "scorer of great goals but not a great goalscorer" players. We would get 3 worldies a season and a lot of games where he disappears.
At Bayern his scoring actually improved with almost every season. In his first BL season he scored 6, then 7, followed by two seasons were he scored 8, and finally 11 in this previous one. Then throw on a handfull of CL and cup goals and a couple of assists.

He produces with some regularity but not at the "top man" level. Granted Bayern's football for his entire tenure has been built around having one monstrous scorer in Lewandowski and now Kane so it is also a bit by design. And he was also the third option at Bayern behind the before mentioned and Gnabry tbf.

Did you see that other account you kept posting got caught out? Rudolph Pat Bateman/@hugthewhiteline claimed Bilbao were after Richarlison and Solomon even though Bilbao only sign players from the Basque region. Locked his account and started a new one under a different name. :ange-facepalm:

Got to stop posting these fake ITK, they're the same 2-3 people pushing each others fake ITK accounts for twitter impressions revenue.

Wow, I didn't know this. Obviously a lot of talent in that region then.

Probably try and pick up Dibling cheap like we did Maddison, Or agree some sort of deal with a player going the other way like we did with PEH and KWP.

Apparently we get £15.7m prize money for qualifying for the CL. The rest will come after certain stages of the tournament and ticket revenue from home matches. So we're not going to get a massive payout this coming transfer window.
Not hard to borrow against guaranteed earnings. Payments often staged anyway.

The Spurs links to Maghnes Akliouche have been circulating on various social media for a while.
I never said these accounts are legit ITK. But show me one - just 1 - account or social site that is legit and trusted? Apart from Fabrizio, there are few others I believe have "connections".

Maybe Solomon and Richarlison have some hidden Basque family ties (like Bixente Lizarazu, born on French Basque) or born in Israeli and Brazilian Basque
Besides, neither Iñaki Williams nor Nico Williams are Basque really - but they were both born in Blibao

To be fair to Levy, he acted quite swiftly in the summer of 2023. Ange was appointed manager on 6th June and the player signings followed soon after.

Hopefully, Levy will confirm that Ange is staying next week and then we can start talking about player transfers. If Ange is going, we can pretty much write next season off because the manager search will eat up most of the summer. Paratici and the new CEO won't be coming in until July and I would assume that a new manager would not be appointed without their input.

If we sack Ange in the next couple of weeks I have no doubt that a replacement will come in almost immediately. Levy will never repeat the mistake of the Mou-Nuno transition again.

Paratici night not start officially until July but he can still advise as he has done throughout his ban. Levy will already have a shortlist and will be shopping around.

But he's complaining about the lack of minutes at Stuttgart... 🤔

Up to him to earn them.

But with 60 matches to play (as Spurs did last season) no player will play anything like them all. And a forward capable of playing striker and on either wing (in place of Richarlison but playing RW as well) will have plenty of minutes, Solanke played quite a few games when he was clearly knackered, as did Johnson.

At Stuttgart he's playing once a week mainly, Spurs mainly twice a week and that's the difference

I see the Saudi's are seriously chasing Fernandes. Whilst he is Man U's only serious player, if they get something stupid like £150M for him it will allow then to seriously strengthen.

I also see Real Madrid are paying £8.5M just to get Trent 4 weeks earlier (free on 1st July) so he can play in the farcical World Club cup.
