Doesn't sit right with me sacking a bloke after he delivered us our best moment in over 40 years.

Just think of how the players will feel. Most of who were recruited or publicly backed Ange

I feel bad for our PR person writing up the Thomas Frank announcement

"We're excited to announce Thomas Frank as our new manager. Thomas' CV includes getting Brentford promoted and finishing as high as 9th place. Welcome Thomas."

I really like Frank, especially having watched his interview with Lineker. He comes across as both a nice person and educated. Discussing how important team spirit is and making sure the whole squad feels part of a family. He assesses the opposition and adjusts his playing style to what he believes gives his side the best chance of success both prior and in-game.

For me Frank is both a very promising, experienced and an under valued coach. Yes he’s not a flash name but he’s made Brentford very competitive and kept them in a decent position despite the loss of Toney.

Ange doesn’t need help with this group of players.

Frank will be asking Mikey Moore and Lucas Bergvall for tips about how to play in Europe because he’s never done it before, let alone won the second biggest trophy in Europe.

Yes mate, Frank who is incredibly intelligent and extremely tactical will be asking for tips. Definitely that. We've definitely not seen coaches with zero "European experience" do very well in Europe before because it's still the same sport and masterminding wins against Bodo Glimt doesn't require some unique tactical knowledge.

Our biggest game was against crap English opposition who Frank beat like a week before we did. I think he'll be fine.

Sits so right with me.

90% of him "delivering" this cup was circumstance. The circumstance of us having nothing to play for in any other competition quite early on. The circumstance of the cup draw. The circumstance of having a golden opportunity to play an insanely fragile United team in a final.

You don't keep a manager on because he benefitted from circumstance.

Frank is rookie. Don’t matter what you think about his tactics.

He’d go into a team meeting talking about how we are going to play in the CL and every single player in that squad will be looking at him running he’s got no clue what’s coming… that’s how they will think a they are right.

If Levy makes the right call on this I'll actually give him credit. If he doesn't then it will be one of his worst ever decisions, genuinely.

Don't fall for the section of the fanbase overwhelmed by emotion, see the trophy win for what it is and do what needs to be done.
