Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Personally i'd go Inzaghi, Glasner, Poch and Iraola before Frank. But as we know with our owners just because you're a big name with a good record it doesnt mean you'll be the right fit here.
At least get some one who has coached to play in the CL before. Thomas Frank? Goodness. After so many years of absence in the European tournament and we are getting Thomas Frank?

Fuck me.

I think Jose deserves a real chance...he was there for a season and a half the first time but the Covid time hit him (empty stadiums, lack of money, etc. etc.)..Levy would put the club's interest first for the first time...if Romero, Van de Ven, Porro and Udogie stay we have a good defense..

How is Frank not a good manager???

What's going on here, bro?
he wasn't in my top 3 a little while ago but i've been swayed, especially from them videos of him actually talking about tactics etc, there's a reason you'll never seen the likes of postecoglou do stuff like that with a whiteboard in front of cameras.....

the question is can frank take the step up? i think a positive with someone like frank, is because he wasn't a big player, hes likely to be more willing to adapt to the times and not get married to a way of playing, hell be willing to do whatever is best. someone like xavi i very much doubt is going to be to interested in counter attacks and set pieces, he's going to want to play a certain way because he only ever played in the best team ever and the best international side ever.

I think alot of people are underestimating the bond of the dressing room Ange has created to be playing for him and under him. He literally builds this team with decisive departures and omissions of players into this core group of players. And it's still ongoing.

I think the outcome of a new manager, especially one without a stellar credentials like Thomas Frank, will gonna be worse than a start with Ange season 3. It's gonna be a major upheaval and reset, which will be really stupid, coming off the back of a Europa win. Romero has no chance of staying. Begrvall will regret his contract extension. Biss will be the mainstay.

Land me a Xavi. At least a Glasner. But please no Thomas Frank.

Either Frank or Iraola are perfect managers for us and Wage-Bill Baldcunt, right now.

- Flexible/adaptable
- Strong principles
- Teams are robust and resilient, whilst also attacking and progressive
- Deep understanding of the league's requirements
- Tactically adept
- Develop players
- Teams coached to high level
- Worked wonders on small budgets

Either of those in charge of us and I doubt we'd have lost an EL game on the way to winning the final, with the run we had.

We will see.

We lose nothing by seeing what happens until December.

There’s no managers on the market that you HAVE toto sack him for right now
That just isn’t even slightly true though.

If by December there is every chance we will be floundering in the league again and getting battered in the Champions League.

Then we will have lost out on the Summer window, the chance to get a decent manager in with Champions League football, and although there isn’t any standout manager available now, there are certainly managers available who are better than Postecoglou.

He has won us our much coveted trophy. I think the last 2 years have shown however that he is severely out of his depth in so many aspects, and the vibes factor that was here with his style of play when he just arrived is well and truly gone.

We have SO MUCH to lose by keeping him. Conversely, we really have very little to lose by getting rid of him.
