Yeah? Tried to get a snidey move to City and then went on strike when he didn't get it.England has always been Kane's top priority, and he's never had any compunction about saying so publicly.
But he's proper Spurs.
Proper Spurs my arse.

Jesus. It’s not like he included one he scored for Bayern and there’s been fucking plenty of them now.
The guy is a huge patriot. Insanely proud of his country and playing for it. He’s country over club. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t like Spurs but the guy is pure England.
Love him for it - he’s a dying breed in this country.
I might start calling you the Grinch.Fair enough mate.
They don't call me the Grinch for nothing. Mind you they don't call me the Grinch!!
International football is great and deserves support and protection. Kane's a particularly fervent example, but in general the players love playing for their countries and are more of the driving force behind the international game than the moneyed interests who keep fucking everything up.Jesus. Do you know how much more money in wages (from clubs) and sponsors because you play for England. It's huge amounts and why players want to play international.Which is why I prefer international football and always have .. the players all ultimately are there predominantly because they want to be, not because of wages. There is no ‘oh my nation isn’t very good I’ll transfer’ unless you’re Diego Costa.
It has many many issues and politics but its players loving the shirt.
Reminder that England players donate their matchday....Do you know how much more money in wages (from clubs) and sponsors because you play for England. It's huge amounts and why players want to play international.
I don't actually believe that but thought I would try and ruin it for you
I understand but I love the tribalism of club footballWhich is why I prefer international football and always have .. the players all ultimately are there predominantly because they want to be, not because of wages. There is no ‘oh my nation isn’t very good I’ll transfer’ unless you’re Diego Costa.

No need for the reminder, it's why I said wages from their clubs and sponsorship deals.
I only found this out when I watched a YouTube video of an Ex-England goalkeeper went into what it's like being paid as an England international...he also said it was a relatively new thing (I'm paraphrasing). I researched it myself and...No need for the reminder, it's why I said wages from their clubs and sponsorship deals.
There was a push a little while ago for women players to be paid the same as men for playing for England. They missed this factI only found this out when I watched a YouTube video of an Ex-England goalkeeper went into what it's like being paid as an England international...he also said it was a relatively new thing (I'm paraphrasing). England's national team players have been donating their match appearance fees to charity since 2007/8, with the England Footballers Foundation distributing over £5 million to various charities.

I remember this! I had a small convo, as a debate would be to harsh, with a female football fan about this. There was a push a little while ago for women players to be paid the same as men for playing for England. They missed this fact
Harry Kane has now scored his 450th career goal for club and country, in what is his 697th game.

So sad we always seem to not have a special place in his heart. Even his congratulatory message to us after our Europa win, he sounded hollow to me IMHO. I know I am way too sensitive to think so and maybe that's his personality, but argh... Our club all-time goal scorer and yet lacks such charisma...Jesus H, you could have slipped one of the 280 you scored for us.
