Poch came in with a track record of doing great things with a young g squad at Southampton. A large majoring of those players were sold for big fees (at the time).

He was known for playing up tempo and pressing football.

Silva and Frank aren’t similar at all.

IMO Poch came in with up side , he was younger but Frank has done no less with Brentford , Silve and Iraola the same with their teams .
But there are no guarantees . Not knocking Poch .

I think you could at least project what you were going to get with Poch. Or at least what you hoped he’d be

No one has anything good to say about Frank/Silva except they’re overachievers.

What’s their football? What’s their identity? I have no idea what kind of teams they want. No idea how they want to play.
 
Xavi, Hütter, Glasner, Frank.

I would be happy with the first three and accept the last. Xavi may not have the years but he would bring something new and exciting to the club... elite experience as a player and a stronger focus on technically gifted players.

And that's why they won't sign him.

I agree with all your saying , my point is there are no guarantees , who would have picked what Nuno has gotten out of NF , I have no idea who we will end up with and exactly what they will bring .
I certainly don't expect a big name , our label is tainted because of Levy , so we have to go for someone lower , I just want a man who understands tactics .
