I hope for Frank's sake he sees through the 'opportunity' to be Levy's next lightening rod

Stability, or mediocrityIt’s obviously only speculation as to what Levy’s reasoning is, but the educated guess is it would be:
- He’s shown he can overperform his resources in a very competitive PL.
- He’s coached and developed young players into consistent PL performers.
- He’s one of the longest-serving PL managers which shows he could bring a period of stability.
Time will tell. I would say he will raise the floor significantly, but probably won’t get us to the ceiling we want.
What the fuck does that mean. You want Ange out to get mid table? Honestly fuck sakeTime will tell. I would say he will raise the floor significantly, but probably won’t get us to the ceiling we want.
I’d like us not to get run through by everyone in the PL like Bonnie Blue at a stag do, yeah. I’d like us not to have a terrible record against other “top six” sides like Ange had. I’d like us to be difficult to score against and hard to beat at home. What the fuck does that mean. You want Ange out to get mid table? Honestly fuck sake
This may not work out but the simple fact is Brentford are a smaller club than Derby or Southampton, or Sheffield Utd etc etc . One could argue that not only should they get relegated they should have set a lowest points record in the process . Has had to sell Watkins and Toney , with their size that is like selling two Kane type essential players . I think the job he has done is phenomenal at Brentford so if it is him I will not be having a meltdown .
My big concern is he tells us to jog on and we scramble around for a month looking to hire someone , that would be a clusterfuck
OkIt's fine to believe that. I doubt anyone is 100% sure he's the right fit. It's just when most of your arguments are based on things that never happened it dilutes it somewhat.
I don't see any reason why Frank can't build on what Ange has already done. If Frank was mediocre, Brentford would not have enjoyed four successive seasons of Premier League football despite losing key personnel. This guy is a significant talent.
Franks record vs the big 6 (both Manc clubs, Liverpool, Chavs, us and Woolwich)I’d like us not to get run through by everyone in the PL like Bonnie Blue at a stag do, yeah. He has better players to call on. Again, overperform the resources available.Franks record vs the big 6 (both Manc clubs, Liverpool, Chavs, us and Woolwich)

Plenty of examples of managers whose first job didn't pan out well. Pretty sure Wenger is a good example of that. Not judging Frank on a job he left in 2016. He's had nine years of growth since then.Check out what he did at Brondby. Ten years on, they're still recovering...
Everyone seems to think the premier league is made up of 20 identical squads and clubs and the manager is the only differenceHe has better players to call on. Again, overperform the resources available.
Yes, can confirm this is what everyone thinksEveryone seems to think the premier league is made up of 20 identical squads and clubs and the manager is the only difference
He didn't even do a disasterclass at Brondby either, it's all just made up shite. Don't want frank? Fine. Make up shit to support your argument? Not so much.Plenty of examples of managers whose first job didn't pan out well. Pretty sure Wenger is a good example of that. Not judging Frank on a job he left in 2016. He's had nine years of growth since then.
"Why would Frank win the league at Spurs? He can't do it at Brentford"Everyone seems to think the premier league is made up of 20 identical squads and clubs and the manager is the only difference

Micky has been great in the top division, Toney was decent as a striker in the Premier League but not stellar. It wasn’t intended as any criticism though. I am in favour of us having 23 cheat codes. That's a bit like the people who unfairly said Ange having VDV was a cheat code though isn't it?
