More evidence of Levy being a terrible judge of people’s opinions.

I mean, Postecoglou was obviously Munn's choice - covered this multiple times as it is so obvious.

I don't really know what the statement means otherwise (e.g. being a terrible judge of opinions).

To me, it indicates that - despite popular opinion - he hired Munn and let him have autonomy to choose a manager.

Furthermore, despite the league stuff and necessary binning of awful league manager, we won a UEFA Cup so in many ways it wasn't a bad appointment. Sometimes people judge an entire thing a failure based on the outcome, but you can take into account other factors. Like the SpaceX launches where the thing blows up but they call it a success because it went higher/further than they expected.

If a takeover is happening which I seriously doubt surely they will want to install their own Manager and it would have made sense to keep Ange. All the comments about Frank being a man that would accept cheaper players do not make sense. He could be sacked as soon as the takeover takes place. With this Manager choice and Davies staying indicates ENIC are here for a while yet.
maybe they had some say in the frank appointment?

keeping postecoglou would never make sense no matter what the circumstance.

Never trust a man who plays with his cock in a photo as my grandma used to say
david goodbye GIF

That's a good point. Would explain such an underwhelming appointment who can easily be binned off in the near future in favour of their own guy. A seat warmer so to speak.
The length of contract could be telling.
maybe frank wont be a success, but he deserves a chance. i think its an exciting appointment, hes adaptable and up to date with the game, why would you not want that?

after 10 games we will have more of an idea how good he is.

Ange’s first 10 games wasn’t a great guide

Neither was Poch's. 4 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses. 1.5 ppg, which isn't amazing. After game 11 we were bottom half, and of course that was around the time he binned off the toxic trio and started to bring Kane back in.

Quite funny seeing it now. He was starting under Sherwood but was back in the freezer with Poch until then.

The 21-year-old had previously scored seven goals in cup competitions this season, without making a league start.

"He maybe deserves to play in the Premier League more," said Pochettino.

Frank needs a good full season IMHO. People use the first 10 of Ange to prove he should have had more time, despite having 10 times that amount of games as 'time'. It will probably take time to wash the stench of no tactical training, although the super cup will probably set the tone for how we start the season
