It's almost like the club doesn't even realize the ready-made elite quality they could buy for the same amount of money they always feel dragged kicking and screaming into eventually surrendering to on players with "potential" or "market opportunities" that they expect to be cheaper.

We're getting wrapped around the axle bidding up players whose wages are cheap as a "savings". It's just not smart financial management.
 
70m? That's nuts. Bournemouth are flush with cash and have every right to ask for over the top.

Think he's a good player and versatile but 70m is too much, about 15m too much.

For us parting with 70m, it has to not only be a starter, but a superstar and he's not quite that.

I know it's a harder deal to do as we have to pay all at once but 65m for eze is the far far better and safer option if we have to choose one.

I mean, they’ve lost 3/4 of the their defence in Zabarnyi, Huijsen, and Kerkez. They’re not gonna sell the rest of their players cheap.

Exactly. He is a very good player, very physically dominating and extremely 2 footed.

Put it this way......

If we spent that on semenyo and we knew we would still go get a top 6 (ederson or similar), and another quality forward (eze) then yes I'd pay it but will we? Probably not so I think 70m is too much of our budget.
 
I keep seeing Camara crop up on midfielder passing datasets. Do like the look of this clip reel too. Looks extremely mobile and agile and can ping a nice cross field ball too. Obviously he’s getting a lot of time on the ball which he wouldn’t in the PL. Takes a nice corner and freekick too. Not watching the England match, because, well, they are boring. Anyone say how’s he’s playing?
