Anyone saying “good price” seems to ignoring the 10m loan fee on top. Thats €45m / £38m.

Surely to god we could spend 40m better than this (non HG) kid, who doesn’t really tick any specific box positionally.

Meh. Loan fee is what it is; whether we decided to buy him or not.

Ditto Kulu; but you always play that card on players you don't like.

Meanwhile; if the 5m euro add-ons get's triggered then all the better; we'll have a proper player on our hands..... So who cares?

So until then; It's a price of 35m euro.

Daniel, Mbeumo would be a very good signing for us and signing him would really show a bit of ambition. Do you think you can do this?

Mathys Tel is close to signing for 30M..... Mostly utter dogshit ability shown so far, but we love a (perceived) bargain......

No. We have already paid a €10m loan fee. Now we have paid a €35m transfer fee. That money comes out of our accounts - and it’s worse because I don’t think we can amortise the 10m over the contract (?).

Either way, just like Kulusevski, it’s cost us the loan plus the fee. That is the actual cost to us. (Plus wages obviously).

If we send them back and didn’t buy, their costs to us wouldn’t have been zero would it? It would be the loan fees.

And trying to make them appear more of a bargain than they actually are is your schtick.

Find solanke a bit underwhelming tbh. Bit injury prone as well as is maddison. Need a top striker and healthy competition in all positions. Need competition for udogie as well. Id have that etkite but not sure he will go elsewhere.

Injury prone???

He played 45 games for us last season, FFS!

Even though Ekitike looks good; there's no guarantees he is a "top striker" though. The list of STs that failed to step up in the prem is endless.

AGAIN, lets give Tel a chance with Thomas Frank and his coaching team. He showed some glimpses last season, not often, granted - but for sure there is a player in there.

Now we have to go for something more proven.

He won't cut it as CF.......

Such a terrible idea.
He has played as a CF for Nottingham forest when their 9 was injured and scored enough goals to show that he can.

even at spurs he has only looked good when he has been on and around the box anticipating the ball, otherwise he is just another pacy winger on the flanks nothing special , one can find better wingers easily even in the championship (I felt Moore and Ajayi offer much more in those positions)

He will get rag-dolled by EPL CBs on a weekly basis.

Yes; his ability to anticipate a chance is his best (only?) trait......... But there's far more to playing ST at the elite level.
