Hmmmmm.....didn't impress me at all last season. I always hope to see a glimpse or two from a youngster to see what they are really good at, but didn't see a single thing he did well. He looked painfully average at everything.

Will reserve judgement a bit longer, but have my doubts this is good business.

I’m really chuffed with this. Personally I’ll judge him on what I see from the start of next season even though I do think he did well last year. Last year was just crazy in so many ways, I want to see how he fairs under Frank in a more stable environment. The lad needs some coaching and time and I think he could be really excellent.

As I said in the transfer thread, it's a very good deal. The kid has extremely high potential, and he was struggling in the best/ most physical league in the World, playing for a side without proper coaching. If coached properly, he has a higher potential than Son, and I'm not exaggerating it.
So he’s going to become possibly the best non-Ronaldo finisher in the world for a decade, and consistently top xG over performers year over year, score 20+ goals per season, and be maybe the most feared transition winger in the PL?

He doesn't lack the technical ability or pace to achieve those numbers, let's just say that. The biggest issue with Tel so far is decision making, which is why I'm so optimistic for him.

I'm all for it, nobody knows what his ceiling is. Had something about him last year imo, anyone is free to disagree. Bale, Kane, Son etc didn't look world beaters in their first half a season. Bayern let Gravenberg go last season and he's been excellent this season, they're not a club that doesn't make mistakes.

Time will tell obviously but I'm going in glass half full.

If Frank wanted him then there is nothing to argue with - imagine if Levy didn’t back him immediately (not hard to imagine I know)

I would expect us to get £20m for Solomon which balances this out somewhat.

Mikey Moore needs a decent loan now - Sunderland or Burnley would be ideal, otherwise top end Championship.

Didn’t overly impress me but to be fair, he just turned 20. And he certainly didn’t look out of place and we were overall floundering as a team. Seems to care and we’ve got an inside look to his character, work ethic, etc. It’s not like he’s 25-26 and we’re trying to turn him around like a Sancho. He’s still at the very beginning of his potential. Ultimately, if Frank wants him then it’s good enough for me. Seems like he’d work better as an inside forward which is more how the wide players for Brentford were this year anyways.
