not a footballer, just an average athlete, signing this turd would be a disaster.
Said not to expect anything and I wasn't wrong. He has no stand out attributes.

I don't don't hate it I actually think Tel will be a good player.

It's clear we're trying to get young talent and avoid the middleman tax, by paying a bit more initialy. Some will work, some won't.

But we need more established players. To give us half a chance now.

My (early days) take on Tel was that he didn't rip up any trees and I was indifferent regards him signing permanently, but he's young and towards the end of the season I thought he put a shift in and offered a bit of pace and I liked his movement.
For the 30m reported fee and 5-6m a year wages? I think he will be a good addition to the squad.

Seems to have a good attitude. Gets his shots off with decent power / accuracy. But would have liked to see a bit more for the amount we've paid.

This is yet another gamble.

Young player with potential that costs a premium. He did not set the world alight at all during his time here. I don’t think this is a sensible decision in the slightest. Time and time again we spend a lot of money on prospects who fail to live up to their potential. instead of spending the money on proven players.

However, £30m isn’t £50m. Nobody looked good for us last season under Ange. He is young. Frank’s strength is getting the best out of people.

Ultimately, anyone who chooses to play for us deserves a fair chance. If he’s here permanently, he deserves our support and I hope he smashes it.

Isn't it 35 million plus another 10 million for the loan?

Would that be the balance of what Bayern agreed to pay Spurs for Kane I wonder?

We've been had if that is the case.

30m is ok- plus the fee though and its 40m- meh for me when that money could be getting Mbeumo and Eze over the line.
I think he'll improve and prove to be a decent signing though- especially with good coaching, but it may not be an immediate thing.
