I am genuinely not surprised. So you give him a pass for all the individual mistakes to his name? I don't think the club looking to buy him will ignore those many errors when coming up with a reasonable price. Blunders cost a lot in football and this guy has been the most guilty of all our defenders. I think he's in a much worse position than many think. That's why he and his agents are pulling all those ridiculous stunts. They know that nobody is willing the pay the price that Levy has in his mind, so they have to force their way out. But no takers it seems..
Spurs have been blessed in recent years with several talented, top quality, centre backs.
Vertonghen, Alderweireld, King and Gallas were all much better defenders than Romero.
Romero has ability but he is not in that top bracket of player as the four players I mentioned were.
Romero is error prone, hot headed and misses too many games to be genuine class.
If Spurs could get 50 million for Romero they would be doing great business in my opinion.
