That's not how it works.
"In the UEFA Champions League, each club can register a maximum of 25 players on List A, including at least two goalkeepers. A minimum of eight of these 25 places must be reserved for "locally trained players (with a maximum of four being "association-trained). There is also a List B for players who meet specific age and club training requirements."

17 non-HG

Tbh I don’t think we are fucked if we don’t add any just for the sake of it. Just means some players will get left out the squad and we need to rotate a bit more in the PL
But if they think Cirkin can be good enough, then I guess it makes sense. Hes still young and been rated by the club before.
