My type is giving competent managers time til they prove they can’t do it.

The previous manager was the first I can remember who didn’t even have the credentials to be at this level.

I’ve got to be honest, Frank wouldn’t have been my first choice but he’s here’s now, a competent Prem level manager so he’ll have all my support unless it gets indefensible.

But I’m sure you, as an avowed defender of managers no matter what will be the most patient out of everyone right?

League position is all that matters in football today to club owners , if Frank maintains a high league position and gets European qualification with it's prize money and extra games then Frank should be OK . Winning FA cups or League cups carries no weight with owners, league postion and it's prize money is the aim of all owners, just ask Ten Hag, FA cup winner but poor league form result sacked, even winning the PL means nothing if you can't maintain a high league position the following season just ask Ranieri.
If Frank can give us a few seasons like Poch did he should be alright.
