Manager The Sack Race

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Was touted as a future Spurs manager once

Joe Cole said he wants Carrick as Spurs manager with Hoddle in some sort of role above him, it was in The Sun this week, they seem to publish any old shit like it's about to really happen. I read the article and it was just Joe Cole's idea reported as if it's breaking news.

I think it was code for the gambing ITK's to lump on.

Carrick was 33-1 this morning before he parted company with Boro.

This dude changes job more often than we sack managers!

One of the smoking guns for Mitchell is that he seems to have a really volatile personality or something, as he seems to fall out with people wherever he goes. At the time people said it was because how we do things, but he seemed to come across as a bit of a stroppy control freak who didn't get on with Poch about signings, then went to Leipzig, then left for Monaco, then went to Newcastle, and has lasted a year there after, I assume, falling out with the club.

For Newcastle, they signed Lewis Hall (£30m), a Keeper named Vlachodimos for £10m (that I've never heard or and didn't know they signed), and a Striker named Osula for £10m (again, never heard of him).
So my assumption would be he thought the PIF would have him building a super team, whereas little has actually changed since the Mike Ashley days
