That Pony kit in a small looked like this
TOTTENHAM-1995-96-SHERINGHAM.jpg

I reckon this bloke had a child kit from his youth and "upcycled" it

This is why football is a winter sport. Aint nobody gonna run around for 90 minutes in 34c heat and sunshine. Fcuk that.
My Small Pony kit doesn't look like this one me lol - it's near skin tight...

Football is a winter sport? have you ever gone to away games to Spain???

That TV show, QI, mentioned that wearing black fabric in sunshine makes no difference to the amount of heat absorbed (or reflected)
CRAP - if you're in direct sunlight it makes a massive difference believe me.

It's not about the heat it's about direct sunlight - if it wasn't true how comes we can make fire with a magnifying glass in the Summer Sun???

that was my first spurs kit when I was like 12 years old in spain! had to go to gibraltar to buy it for my christmas present! I wore it to play football with my friends in the spanish sun and it was great. maybe a little billowy but all kits were back then

I salute you! When I used to play in school & asked for a drinks break from the PE Teacher who was a cunt said NO!

I ended up punching him once but that's another story...

I'm half Norwegian I aint built for heat, I'm built for battles in the snow!

1) it has been all white before many times with navy accents - you just make small adjustments like the 2017/2019/2022/2023 & my favourite of all time the 2021 :)
It's usually plain one year then a bit mad the next.
2) I like the AIA some don't but to me I prefer it as it's just simple unlike that silly Aurasma (I work in IT and was like WTF IS THIS???) or that horrid HP Logo...I hate HP kit due to working in IT :D also I don't like betting sponsors it feels like WONGA or some shit...
Annoyingly, the longer we have red AIA, the more it becomes synonymous with us. One day, it might look odd if it wasn't red.
3) No collars on football shirts - only Cantona could pull it off :D
Back when he was an elite athlete. Drank red wine and had a smoke at half time probably.
4) Agree - but this upcoming season is the cheapest looking shite I've worn...
Can't remember what I wrote for 4 :roflmao:

The issue with expensive kits for me is the spiralling costs in football. Teams have to spend obscene money on players. To offset that they (through leagues TV deals) push up subscriptions, TV money, sponsorship and manufacturer costs.
If there were no transfer fees and wages were capped the game would be more competitive on the pitch, but more importantly, cheaper for fans.

I get you - when i play 5-a-side or futsal I end the match with a ciggie & a pint but then I usually start the game exactly the same :D

My issue with this year's kit is the panelling & it's so bad on the cheaper 'stadium' versions & they're getting shitter every year. This is why I go for the 'Elite' Vapor Knit ones, regarding the wider issue of the cost of fans to me is always an odd one which deserves a deeper convo but it'll become an essay that no one will read :D

I've long suspected the "cheap" kit is designed to look really bad to try to force your hand.

I haven't bought a genuine one since I discovered chinesium ones anyway

I get ya cos the Stadium versions now are shite! they have been for a long time now.

The chinesium ones use the same crap generic nike fabric that they use for all nike kits as the 'real' ones so I understand why & that's more of a reflection on the complete collapse of quality of those versions than us as fans.
